  1. Driveline issue...Jeep bouncing

Any changes for anyone with this issue? My 2020 JTR started doing the same last year (2024) around July? Only thing I recall doing was changing the rear sway bar links to Synergy adjustable. The lift that was on the Jeep was a mess (3.5 coils with 0-1.5 inch fox shocks on the front and 0-1.5...
  2. 3.6 pentastar 2020 major problems - Is the newer engine better in 2025 etc.

Not for anyone, not aimed at anyone, not pointed in any direction other than -> For the lurkers - and the tens of thousands of non-members who hit these forums every week - You'd be amazed at the people who search for info about problems or oils or whatever, never being a member, and finding...
  3. Core 4x4 Track Bar contacting differential cover

I have a Rubicon with no lift and haven’t had any problems. Unless they changed design since 2020?
  4. 4.88 Gears Safe For Distance On Highway?

I ran 4.88 gears on my JT from San Diego to Grand Canyon to monument Valley and back. No problems.
  5. Stupid ESS System

2020 JTR Auto. Start stop not ready battery charging. Last time about 6 months ago I replaced the aux battery. I also have a 2019 Pacifica with the same motor and ESS system. Never had any problems or warning messages. Why so many problems with the Jeep system? Going to pull the F42 fuse...
  6. Aux battery charging Qs.

Worst possible sources of information - youtube and even other Jeep forums. There's more bunk out there than fact. I keep my batteries topped off using a BatteryMinder through the trailer plug. No problems. My 2020 was doing fine at 2 years and 8 months - batteries worked like new after I did...
  7. leveling kit and alignment

Friend bought used JK that was sold for sxs. Jeep shows signs of being used and they've already replaced front axles and shocks were incorrectly installed. And there's clicking noises up front. Needed to on my Pilot, but never on the Gladiator.
  8. Does Model Year Matter? Any to avoid yet?

The 2020s are the most notorious for valve train issues in the gladiators. Also had leaky axle seals (spread in to later years as well) and the rubicons of that time frame couldn't lock the rear locker in 4h with out a software update. Not a high probability of problems either way but I'd...
  9. 6-speed Service Transmission message.

I have a 2020 Overland with 6-speed MT, special-ordered, delivered in late July 2020. It was manufactured after the initial clutch overheating problems were supposedly fixed. After a while, I got a recall notice on the clutch overheating problem. The "fix" as explained in the letter, was to...
  10. NSA Ready Brute Elite – w/ or w/o charging line?

I'm using the Ready Brute Elite on my 2020 Gladiator, with my home-made version of the CoolTech wiring harness - no charge line needed because there is no draw from the JT battery at all. Use the same setup on our 2022 JLU and, again, no problems. This past summer we pulled the JLU from San...
  11. Mileage - How high is too high?

In Alabama 90% of the Jeeps are pavement princess. Crazy street miles, that's most places actually. That including my JT and really my 05 LJ. It's been covered by many people already so I won't rehash the prior commitments. If it's still stock rims and tires (in size/ type) and no "rash" on...
  12. My absolute nightmare Jeep Gladiator Experience over the last 20 months

These things can and SHOULD run smooth as silk and have plenty of power for towing 3,000-5,000 pound trailers. That's the norm. Anything else and they've got problems. Dealerships matter - we had the transmission replaced (under warranty) in my wife's JLU last fall - it wasn't even a year...
  13. 2020 gladiator: ESS/aux battery bypass/ blown N3 fuse with no hvac or radio controls

It was my fuse block that got blown on my 2020 Rubicon. Put a new aux battery in thinking that was the problem and it ruined that battery in 2 weeks. Tested the fuse and sure enough the 100 amp was blown. Ordered Mopar 68368854AA FUSE Z CASE on Amazon and I was good to go. Ironically a...
  14. Does Model Year Matter? Any to avoid yet?

Right— and that’s what I’m wondering about. I never wanted to buy the first model year of any car regardless of make, but then the next couple years definitely would have subbed parts and time bombs as the supply chain race began, even if tweaks were made for first year design issues. But 45k vs...
  15. Dana Spicer 4:88s are in stock, i have a couple questions.

first off you can buy these gears at any jeep, chrysler, dodge or ram dealer. they can also install and give a warranty. are you dead set on a 37" tire? pick your ultimate tire and then gears. what ratio did your jeep come with? don't know? give a jeep dealer your VIN. what was the OEM tire...
  16. Towing Gas vs Diesel

No disagreement on diesel being a better tow vehicle and more MPG's towing or not. If the diesel option would have been (available) with "my" required options it would have been my choice even with noted down sides. More expensive services. The diesel option wasn't out, or if so not long...
  17. Jeep Gladiator - happy owners? seeing scary stuff in the repair forums

Picked up Oct 2020. just under 40K miles. Only issue was some loose suspension components around the 30K mile mark. Other then that, no problems at all. One of the first Jeeps I've gotten "lucky" with. Stop / Start sill works and still on the original windshield. Knock on wood :)
  18. 2022 Feedback

Having owned a 2020, 2021 and now currently a 2022 model, it is my opinion they have gotten better sorted over time. The biggest drivers early on for problems was engine misfire issues, leaking rear window and leaking axles. That seems to be less of an issue today but nothing is ever absolute...
  19. My Views on my Gladiator as its Warranty Expires

2020 Sport Max Tow. No Lift, 33 tires. Only add on was the dual battery kit from genesis. 90000 miles just dealer maintenance no problems knock on wood for another 90000.
