  1. Synergy Coming Out With Knuckles For JT and JL

Another alternative is Currie's Rock Jock High Steer kit . It only requires 2.5" of lift and has iron knuckles. The kit raises track bar and drag link like 2.5" without a DL flip and a bump stop only a hair over 2" . May not be much help with high lift amounts but changed my JT with only 3" lift
  2. Looks like I'm coming back. Mojave or Rubicon?

I always was going to buy the Rubicon, hands down. There was no question in my mind. Then came the Mojave. I bought the Mojave over the Rubicon because of the reinforced frame and thicker axle tubes, period. The iron knuckles, advanced cooling and bolstered seats are a plus. In my driveway...
  3. IFS Jeep bombing through the desert

Geo brackets are evo, bought from someone who never ended up installing them for $100. Front arms are stock as are the rear lowers. Rear uppers are rock krawler triangulted with their rear truss. I don't plan on putting any money into the stock axles. If they bend/break I'll upgrade to tons. 37s...
  4. 2-2.5" Spacer Lift - What variables to consider when lifting?

I have the AEV spacer on my 21 Mojave and I am very happy with it and it comes with the shock relocation brackets and their ProCal programmer which I swapped out for a Tazer Mini.
  5. 2-2.5" Spacer Lift - What variables to consider when lifting?

I have the AEV 2" spacer lift and it works pretty good. Since I have the Mojave I used the one specifically for the Mojave but you would use their standard version. With a spacer lift you'll be adding extensions instead of new shocks and springs which will save you a lot of money. You'll want to...
  6. 2-2.5" Spacer Lift - What variables to consider when lifting?

...basic pucks for the lifts - but some seem to be more incomplete than others. Brands: AEV Spacer Lift Teraflex 2.5 ReadyLift SST 2.5 Iron Rock Offroad Daystar (although it doesn't seem to be offered on their website anymore?) Each of these kits comes with different options. Some...
  7. JT Sport S - Recommend a 2inch lift for daily driver

...kits and am not sure which one to choose. It appears that AEV spacer kit is highly recommended, but I also read about the ReadyLift, Iron Rock, Teraflex 2.5, and Daystar. Is there something simpler with "building" my own lift with specific parts? Is there a decent spacer lift that has...
  8. Death Wobble at 14k miles

Agree. That was the source of mine. I prefer the iron rock checklist.
  9. Photo Request: 2 inch lift w/ 33inch tires

2" Iron Rock Lift on a Sport Max Tow but used the Rubicon Springs on the front and the 1/2" spacer from the terraflex leveling kit I had previously installed. Sets pretty level with 1/4" lower in front. This is with the 285/70/17 tires (33" basically). Going to 35" when these are done.
  10. How much lift do I need to run 40s?

hey Gerald, i'll show you respect and answer your question with info only and no flack about your motives. i have a 2021 gas rubicon. my starting point is different from yours but hopefully it will give you some ideas for adapting to your build. i run a 4.5" lift from teraflex with alpine IR...
  11. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Here's a breakdown of my lift setup. It's a bit of work to piecemeal it. But that's what I ended up doing Iron rock off-road 2 inch spacer with Bilstein 5100 https://www.ironrockoffroad.com/product/Gladiator-2-lift-kit.html Synergy 2 inch front lift springs...
  12. Lift for towing

  13. Bumper configuration...

I agree with you 100% if you like do more challenging trails. It was a no brainer for me in Colorado. I got my Mojave in late Oct so five days in I was snow wheeling the Iron Clad trail in Allenspark and slid side ways into a small tree and could not pull forward or back without damage and didnt...
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Nice garage. Are those both Miatas in there? Can’t tell the yellow one.
  15. $600 for a lift which one?

I went with the Iron Rock 2" lift. My thought process; I liked the way it handled and rode currently. A spacer lift "should" leave the truck riding the same. Handling would primarily only be affected by the change in the center of gravity from raising it. A big concern for me was spending...
  16. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Got my lift hopefully going on this weekend What I decided on was the iron rock off-road 2 inch spacer for the rear to maintain the max tow springs and 2 inch front lift springs from synergy. After that I need to choose tires. I'd like to maintain the thinner tires only my 17 inch wheels. But...
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Installed a 2" Iron Rock spacer lift with some sway bar disconnect end links. I really like how this truck handles and rides on the road. I didn't want to screw that up. I figured a spacer lift would keep the ride the same. Plus it's cheap enough that if I don't like it, I can revert to...
  18. HELP! Broke body bolt

A friend, who has since passed due to his heart issues, had a pacemaker in his final years. He owned and operated Moose Magneto. Guess what he had to stop doing........... no leaning over a fender working on ignition, alternators (magnetic fields) and absolutely stay away from turning on his...
