    Has anyone just used a single line for the Lange Hoist-A-Top to lift the Gladiator top instead of the two steel cable runs? I have a HF winch already installed over my garage parking and would like to just use that and maybe combine the front/rear bars of the hoist-a-top with one carabiner, etc.

    ...mention I had an extremely hard time sticking my hand up in & under the winch to get the bolts started..lol only way I would do it is park under a big tree limb & hoist bumper with winch attached then under bumper bolts back the jeep up 1 ft. Switch grills then pull forward and bolt it back 😂😶‍🌫️

    I'd say if you actually wanna do it right take the top off. It's hard enough to get that thing using the glue strips or glue spray with it removed I can't imagine trying to do it with the top mounted.

    We removed the roof and to be honest it was the best decision. My wife and I did it without a hoist, the roof really isn't that heavy, awkward but not heavy. Good luck.
