  1. ISSUE! Rear Axle Lock Indicator

Thanks so much. I'm not going to pay $180+ for a screwed up sensor---because I have the extended warranty. If the dealer tells me they need to replace the whole axle then I'll do it. Without the extended warranty I'd do it in a heartbeat. Amazon has tons of knockoffs far cheaper but the...
  2. Fluid & Filter Preferences Explained - Jeep Gladiator 3.6L V6

Aftermarket preferences, other than engine air filter, in original post above: In response to replies since post #23 This is a restatement of my aftermarket winners. The oil filter and the T-case fluid did not earn a special designation, such as "writer's pick", in my post on Links to Prices...
  3. As I approach 75k miles….

...Mine is a 2020 with 97000. Depends on how you drive yours as to how long parts may last. I've gotten my money's worth out of the extended warranty on the Gladiator. My wife doesn't want to buy a new one or replace it because it's still running brian, and I don't think she trusts Jeep...
  4. Rear Pinion failure and no parts availability

Nope, no loaners were given and was denied when I pushed. I had the 1 million mile warranty offered by Jeep with zero deductible, and Jeep gave me nothing but hassles to approve the warranty. They even sent out an inspector to try and blame me for the failure, but in the end, there was no way...

  7. Bought an OBD reader, no check engine light on my car or anything, but I have a bunch of faults

...thing going on with my 3rd brake light. I just dropped my JT off at the dealer to have it replaced. It should be covered under my extended warranty for the $100 deductible, otherwise I would replace it myself. Lot's of good info out there, but posting a few here if others need to reference...

  11. Needing some suggestions/recommendations.

..., it was a lease turn in the Ford dealer bought. It was clean as a pin and had all the service records. But I still wanted an extended warranty, I bought one at cost. It was the f Ford warranty. It was worth it . I didn't have many problems with the Liberty, but water pump, and door locks...
  12. Should I buy extended warranty or is the 7 year/100,000 mile good enough?

Thank you, @Mr Bill , I've contacted the dealer and now waiting to hear back as to whether the warranty is the Mopar Max Care starting at current mileage. I would not have thought about the MMC warranty if not for your input.
  13. Should I buy extended warranty or is the 7 year/100,000 mile good enough?

  14. Should I buy extended warranty or is the 7 year/100,000 mile good enough?

If they offer one that starts with the current mileage and purchase date, get a Mopar Max Care Warranty. The standard Mopar Extended Warranty starts with the original sale date of the truck and would not provide a decent coverage period. The Mopar Warranty is honored at any dealer. A third...
  15. Should I buy extended warranty or is the 7 year/100,000 mile good enough?

In a nutshell, my '23 Gladiator Sport S was recently totaled, leaving me without a vehicle. My local dealer has a sweet, well-equipped 2020 Gladiator Sport S that I've put a deposit on. It is a Certified Pre-Owned local owner trade with clean Carfax, and has 49,410 miles on the odometer. My...

So your using a car warranty other than Chrysler ? Is the dealer doing the repair ? Around here NO ONE takes the aftermarket warranties I even know of several shops owned by former Chrysler mechanics that won't take Chrysler warranty coverage. They say they all are a total joke and won't pay...

  19. What kind of discounts are people getting on new Gladiators nowadays?

Picked it up at Rhythm CDJ in Hendersonville, TN. They were very ready to make a deal. They also did an amazing price on an extended warranty and threw in a free T-shirt.
  20. “Death wobble”

On my 2014 JK, I have adjusted my steering gear box a number of times to get the slop out of the box. Not sure why the newer Jeep boxes seem to have more wear than the old Saginaw boxes I have used on builds for decades. Some folks say adjusting a box is taboo…I’m OK with them buying a new box...
