...can and often purchasers don’t understand the limits of the warranty. The amount of money that I have saved by not purchasing any extendedwarranty on any vehicle I have purchase would pay for quite a few repairs (that I have not needed). If you think you may need the extendedwarranty, it...
...things when the vehicle has been modified beyond a point. They tend to look for reasons to deny coverage. Also, if you do buy an extendedwarranty I would only by a factory backed extendedwarranty.
But the reality of extended warranties is you are better off saving your money on average...
I bought an extendedwarranty just because I was new to Jeeps and didn't know if they were reliable. I also have a JTRD and love it. Almost at 50k miles now and the only issues I've had were NOT engine related. (front end). Unfortunately, even if I used the warranty to fix said front end...
Hypothetical question here. If you had a JTRD that you wanted to keep forever and, for fun let’s say you were in Canada. Would you prefer a 125k mile extendedwarranty at $4,500 or something else for about half the cost? I’m new to DEF diesels and trying to learn
Sorry but if Jeep really cared....there would be a recall for head gasket issues.
Extendedwarranty from Jeep is thier answer to a known issue. They want you to pay for this warranty to help recover their loss. Then you try to use your warranty only to for the dealership to drag thier feet...
Intermittent P06DD and P1524 codes combined with a minute oil leak led to new front left/right bank VVT solenoid seals and intake manifold gaskets as well as a new engine oil pump in my 2020 Overland. Only had it ~4 months and 3k miles...thankful for the extendedwarranty.
So I've got the 3rd brake light replaced, any suggestions on diagnostic tools to clear the BCM fault code B16B7-15? Mainly something that can provide the security gateway unlock. TIA
I have just paid through the nose for passenger side head replacement and both head gaskets at 75k miles on my 2020 Rubicon. With a quick search of the internet, you can see this is happening all over across JT and JL customers, usually between 50 and 70k miles, but mine did not throw a code for...
You'll get many recommendations. First off... take an oil sample and send it off for analysis. Then match the oil to daily usage. Here's my recommendations. All synthetic oil and I prefer Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. I use Shaffer's oil when towing. long distance with long durations 5W-40.
*Stop...
That ain't gonna happen. 48K for a JT that has an MSRP well into the 60s? Even with all of my discounts, under FWP and so on, it was over 50.
Why didn't you have it fixed if it "wandered" maybe your first Jeep? They don't wander unless there's a problem.
I see you have it at 3 different...
...I'm lucky because I bought it in Virginia. Paid 48k for it. Traded it in and got 50k. I got all my taxes back and cashed in the extendedwarranty I bought and only lost $50 on that.
I really want another Gladiator. But I'm gonna wait until they put a hemi in it and I can get another deal...
...always gets so worried about these cockeyed warranties. Before you know it 60k is gone (and it dont matter unless you have some extendedwarranty paid for. Which most cant afford. ) After that quick 60k your on your own in a Gas model so I suggest proactive maintenance preemptive maintenance...
Wow. Talk about cherry picking and putting words into people's mouths. <facepalm>
Lithium mines:
Petroleum mining:
Lithium mining became a bad thing because of China, which is mostly a red herring. Australia actually produces most of the lithium. But overall, the physical act of lithium...
I think shocks should be replaced as a pair (front or rear) as a minimum. If I had only one shock leakingI’m afraid I’d have to spray the opposite side shock with hydraulic fluid before going to the dealer…...just saying.
Just discovered I have this issue while researching a fault code reported in the BCM. My extendedwarranty deductible is $99 so I guess I’m buying a new light, great.
I recommend that you try this before you attempt DIY fixes.

1. What to say to service advisor at dealership
2. Possible warranty extension specifically for death wobble
I did a search here for Mopar warranty and contacted all the recommended companies for quotes. The dealer where I bought my Jeep matched my lowest quote. The dealer I used was Roanoke Motors in Illinois. They were great.
