The shocks I used came off a stock Rubicon. They are not made for the 2" lift.

I dont think a 2" lift would be over the top but totally understand it is hard to tell from pictures.

I think it is all comes down to personal preference and how much you are willing to spend. Do you plan on taking it out on trails or just as a daily? If it is just a daily, I think my current setup would be just fine and it didnt even cost me $500 (not including the wheels and tires)

Running 35x11.5 tires on 17x9 wheels with a +12 offset

Ended up going with the 35x11.5 size but I get about an 1” to 2” of poke.

I am pretty sure your current tire size is 32". I used this website to compare tire sizes. https://tiresize.com/calculator/

We almost had the exact setup lol. I was going to go with that tire size but the 35s were on sale and ended up being cheaper.

I've had both the BFG KO2s and the Toyo Open Country A/T III. Both are great tires. I will say, I do a lot of driving in dirt/gravel and the KO2s seemed to kick up more rocks than the Toyos. But for highway driving, I haven't really noticed any real differences.

I'm curious. I see people saying they do the aux delete. How is this beneficial?
