I got lucky and didn’t have to negotiate it. I know everyone has stuff going on, but I explained our situation and the strain it is putting on our household and they offered it to me. I’m definitely grateful that they offered it to me as a courtesy
...from my dealer service. Chrysler authorized inspecting the camshaft and lifters so they’ll be looking at that on Monday. I like the extendedwarranty you got. If they install the new kit I’m going to try and get that for mine. I already have one extendedwarranty but I’ll take all I can get...
Yes, mine has been at the dealership for over 6 weeks. The cam kit has been assigned to me and is on the way to the dealership and customer care extended my warranty to 9yr/120k.
...button.
I made an appt for service and they wanted me to leave it with them for a week!
Am I entitled to a loaner vehicle through Jeep Wave? Looks like
they will pay for one day rental up to 40.00.
I bought an extendedwarranty....can't locate any info in my paperwork...any tips?
Thanks!
Customer care called this week. My kit is on its way to the dealership and they tacked on an extendedwarranty taking me to 9yr/120k. Just going to change the oil every 2k for the next few months and hope the engine goes inside the warranty window and I can get a new one for the $100 deductible.
This recently happened to me. I have a 2020 JTR with 60k on it. I noticed some oil spots underneath my truck where I park, so I started investigating. I looked underneath the truck and saw oil spilling over the transmission and transfer case. I popped the hood and, sure enough, had a puddle down...
I would expect the extendedwarranty to cover it but do not know the exact details of what you have. If just the powertrain extended coverage, it may not cover it as that usually is just for the internally lubricated moving parts.
You can do your own maintenance while under warranty unless you got suckered into some dealership provided extendedwarranty that insists you have every service done with them.
My situation exactly. 20 Rubicon with 7" cluster and 8.4" infotainment screen. Spent 3 months at the dealership with no help. "Waiting on parts." Picked it up and took the dash out myself. Really easy actually. Just gotta have some finesse with some of the trim clips. Sent it off to United Radio...
Here they don't give a rip. In fact, one of them treated me quite well hoping I'd buy from them I suppose - until they told me my winch was the cause of batteries being low - even ignoring that big red switch right next to the battery that shut the winch off completely. Once they said they fixed...
Yes, technically they can't refuse but, wink, wink, they can certainly prioritize who gets what in a timely manner.
I think the size of the dealership and competition in the local area plays a big part in it. Within 45 minutes of my home, there has to be no fewer than 10 dealerships I can...
Our Bronco Sport is a Badlands model and recalls didn't impact ours either.
Our issues with the Jeep weren't all related to off-roading. We had engine issues, leaky seals, a broken visor, and some factory issues.
CNA warranty from selling dealership. Granger sells inexpensive warranties.
It was from a dealer mentioned in the thread below. He was easy to work with.

Tim,
Glad you love your JT. What extendedwarranty did you get? from Jeep/Stellantis directly ?
I've had so many issues that if I keep mine, I will have to have an extendedwarranty --I haven't researched the options yet -- seeking info from those who have.
I'm at 1 1/2 years and 17k miles, so...
Just coming up on three years of ownership, and just under 30k miles. Love it so much I got the extendedwarranty, and hope to be driving it for a very long time.
