Temperature Gauge - (weird piece hanging down)

Issues with stock Head Unit
Good Morning - I am the new owner of a Jeep Gladiator. I’ve noticed my head unit is exceptionally slow to respond as well as potentially loses power?! I’m constantly having to reset clock which is rather annoying. Any suggestions?- E-UNIT
