Saw a recent post and was wondering how many of us have needed to be towed and why. My Gladiator is the second of many vehicles Iāve owned that needed to be towed.
Transporting or shipping a vehicle does not count.

CEL code last week. Found out it was a P026D and suggested to clean the MAF sensor. Truck still ran great holding at 22mpg.
Didnāt get a chance to clean the MAF and then a few days later dash lights up like a Christmas tree. Truck shifts into limp mode.
Dropped off at a dealer...
Recently moved to Toms River. Looking for a dealership. Looks like every dealer has bad reviews⦠Surprise! Anyone have a favorite or recomendation for warranty and service? Or even a non dealer specializing in Jeeps?
Probably not the longest on record here but Just finished a trip relocating from SoCal to NJ In the Gladiator. Total multi day mileage 3,251 miles. Burned about 250 gallons of diesel. The rig was incredible! Love this truck.
Truck performed flawlessly. Not sure I would have gotten the same...

First off, how to we put this thread alway at the top? https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/official-2020-ecodiesel-oil-recommendations.29701/
I had a tough time finding the proper spec oil yesterday.
Changed my oil for the first time this weekend. My Jeep Included oil changes ran...
Time to replace my 35ā BFG KO2s. Thinking of going back to The stock 33ā but adding a mild lift. thinking Clayton for my needs. Any thoughts? Anyone have a lift on stock size tires?
Looking for local knowledge on access and reviews on this area. Wife and I are planning a trip out to the area and Redington Pass keeps popping up. Will be pulling a small/mid size camper with decent clearance.
Thanks!
After I had the HPFP replaced I started using Hotshots additive. At roughly the same time I had my oil changed at the dealer and the knucklehead mechanic spilled oil all over the driver side engine compartment (Thatās another frustrating story).
Initially there was a distinct synthetic burning...
Whelp! Just like everyone here has described. Rattle Noise, power loss, dead. Pretty sure itās the fuel pump. Left my wife and I on a sketch 2 lane road a mile from the house. Had AAA drop it off to the dealer. hope to find out whatās up this week.

Iāve been traversing several deep water crossings in my mall crawler lately. Trying to figure out whatās causing the incredible amounts of water that sheets onto my windshield; to the point that I cannot see anything in front of me. Truck is a...
Driving home this afternoon and suddenly the speakers started making noise. Every station, band, aux,and Bluetooth sounds like bad reception. I seem to recall a weird message on my dash when I started it saying something about Aux switches temporarily not working. No other issues.

Took a 140mile round trip yesterday in the JTRD yesterday and nothing happened. No de-rating, no catastrophic oil leaks, no fuel pump implosions. Nothing But tons of torque. For reference, 2021 rubicon on 35s with roughly 18k on the clock.
(sorry, I donāt mean to make light of those that are...
The wife and I just got back from a 2 night 3 day trip to Thomas Mountain In Mountain Center, CA. This may be my new favorite camp. Hauling Base Camp up the mountain was no problem for the JTRD II. The trail was easy. TY @1996XJ and @Matstock4 for your earlier posts On the area.

Not sure if there is an issue with my ecodiesel. After towing, I back my truck and trailer down the drive way. The driveway is pretty steep. I sometimes park the truck partially inclined so I can unload the trailer.
After unloading, when I start the truck back up to put the trailer away, oil...
I was out this weekend scouting camp sites on the north side of Palomar Mountain. I was with a buddy with a Tremor F250. Obviously a less, but impressively capable vehicle, I had to slow down because his wife was getting tossed around from the stiffer suspension.
As we started our descent to...
Not a good combo. My youngest is learning and this Jeep platform is not the best. Wanders, touchy gas pedal in the 2.0, vague steering in the JT, always wanting to take her hand off the wheel to wave at other jeep ?. Not very good for student drivers. Oh, and limited places to stick the magnetic...
