Is anyone here flat towing by connecting the system to D rings that are bloted directly to the frame ends. I really don't like the blue ox base plate design with the side plates and the bar under the bumper. Are the frame end plates that the D ring bolts to strong enough to flat tow from.

The problem. I have the Gladiator and GMC Sierra, both with Homelink. When I programmed the Gladiator to the garage door, the GMC's Homelink stopped working. When I reprogrammed the GMC, the Gladiator's Homelink stopped working. I can't get them both to program without canceling the other one...
