Are gps units necessary anymore? With all the apps on phones or even on the screen in the jeep, why would I need a gps unit? Does it hold some maps or other info I can’t get through uconnect?

I want to change the sway bar on my JT sport s with 1 from a rubicon. Will a JK or JL rubicon sway bar fit on the JT? Or do I have to use a JT rubicon sway bar? I‘ve been told that a JT will fit on a JL, but will a JL fit on a JT?
