  1. 1st Gladiator Hothead Headliners

I know this is an old post, but I tried this discount code just now and it was invalid. Is there a current discount for forum members?
  2. New Truck Many Issues

Most issues don't start happening to most people. Reading the forums is like reading WebMD, if you don't come with the correct mindset you'll leave thinking you have lupus.
  3. ROLl CALL- How many have you owned?

Relatively small list so far: 01 TJ - solar yellow 5 speed 16 JKU - hydro blue 6 speed 20 JTR - hydro blue auto
  4. Mudding harmful to Jeep?

How many times did you have to hit that tiny puddle to get that much mud on it???
  5. Tailgate Not Locking

To the dismay of some here, the Gladiator doesn't have a tailgate proximity entry sensor.
  6. Bad news from my dealer. Jeep arrived with issue.

    I was thinking this Enterprise...
  7. Gladiator Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

My truck reached JB on Monday and the build sheet became available. It's still in JB, my understanding is that when it goes KZ that the window sticker will be available. Both were "NONE" before Monday.
  8. JLU bikini on Gladiator?

I've never seen a bikini top that I thought would provide sufficient protection from rain, that's not really their purpose.
  9. 7500 mile LE, price check?

49k for a used LE seems too high to me. Plenty of dealers around the country doing 5%+ below invoice on new ones. That would get you within a couple grand on a similarly optioned new one. That's assuming there's no added value for it being a LE, which to me there wouldn't be.
  10. Rock Rails Thread

LOD just put some details out about their upcoming sliders, it looks like an interesting design with removable lower step. (The image appears to be more JL length than JT, guessing they just made one image)...
  11. Loose Steering?

  12. Sport S w/ 37" tires and Mopar Lift - Pricing and question

MSPR on that build is $44970. Minus 10% for a good deal is $40473 before lift and tire. Mopar 2" lift is ~$1500 on the internet plus maybe $1000 for tires (keeping in mind they're selling your old ones) is about $43k
  13. Here’s a new one

How integrated is the power supply? Is it possible to remove/disconnect it and replace it with something external?
  14. Overland catches fire for no reason

It depends on how the breaker is sized, what the maximum output of the battery is and the physical properties of the coat hanger. Assuming it was correctly hooked up somehow (battery positive > coat hanger > breaker input > breaker output > coat hanger > battery negative) and the breaker is...
  15. Overland catches fire for no reason

You're failing to realize the difference between motor full load current, which occurs when the motor is being used as designed, and a bolted fault, which occurs when there is a very low resistance connection between the positive and negative terminals of the battery. In a fault situation, which...
  16. Overland catches fire for no reason

This is completely incorrect. I don't know the details of this fire, but a properly sized breaker will greatly reduce if not totally eliminate the risk of a fire downstream of it. To correctly size the breaker you need to have know motor use periods and have time current curves for the breaker...
  17. LED Headlights are dangerous in snow/ice storm

https://www.frostfighter.com/clear-view-defroster-special.htm Wonder if these guys could make a small ring that would work on the headlights, could easily be controlled by the aux switches if you have them.
  18. Altimeter

I think you'd be surprised how accurate the topos are that are available. More and more counties are putting that information online via a Geographic Information System (GIS). Here's a random bit of field and trees from the Douglas County GIS with 1' elevation lines. Not saying that's how the...
  19. Fighting to keep it in the lane.

I'd start by checking/lowering the tire pressure and giving it another drive. If that doesn't help it you can see if they're willing to start replacing stuff before you buy it. Otherwise it's wait for a similar one or order one to your specifications.
