Interesting. Over here even "pickup" is being used less and less. People mostly just say "truck" now for pickups.
I actually saw an old El Camino on the drive into work last week. I honestly don't know what people were thinking back in the 70s.
I'd be worried about towing that much and then possibly getting into an accident and then your insurance finding out and not covering liability because you were towing more than the rated amount.
I'm not sure how it would work legally.
Okay. Our low to the ground El Camino type vehicles died out a few decades ago. But tall pickups are extremely popular. Where I live they are probably more common than cars.
Why are utes so popular in Australia? Don't they have much lower ground clearance than pickups? Kind of doesn't make sense to me.
I'm hoping for 5,000 lbs towing capacity for the new JLU and 7,500 lbs for the JLT.
