We had a great time! Thank you again for leading the group, elff! My camera was set to erase older videos once the memory card was full, so unfortunately I don't have any of the good stuff. If anyone wants to see 27 GB of me pulling out of the parking lot and heading home just let me know...
elff will probably chime in with an exact spot. When you arrive there is a pretty big parking lot. If you see a Snazzberry Wrangler Willys next to black Mazda Tribute that will be my mom and me. The Tribute will probably stand out because it'll be so woefully unequipped for wheeling!
Haha- I test drove a Wrangler a couple of years ago and that was my biggest issue. It wouldn't have mattered with an automatic, but my leg had to be right there to use the clutch.
I would just ask about using affiliate rewards, which would put you at 1% under invoice and include the $75 doc fee. Most dealers do accept it, but it is generally something that you would mention to them, not the other way around.
My CU used to sell gap insurance at a very low price and started including it in every loan at no additional charge right before the last time I bought a car. Assuming they still do (I'll need to remember to check), it's pretty hard to beat free!
I will finance every blessed cent including taxes and registration through my credit union. I plan to keep it forever, so I'd rather be upside down as long as possible. This way if anything happens to it in the first couple of years I'm not out a large down payment and gap insurance will make...
You were wise to take that with a grain of salt. Assuming you shared your concerns about the Avalanche, the salesman probably decided to pass on potentially selling you something a few months from now and focus on getting you out the door in the $55K truck they've been floorplanning for a year...
You know what's usually even more ironed out that year 2? Year 3. But at that point why not wait for a possible refresh in year 4? Of course maybe those changes need some real world time before they're perfect. Best to wait until year 8, but then why not wait for the all new generation 2...
I already qualify as well, but if I didn't I would definitely spend a few minutes going over that list. If you search the word member you can see the organizations you can join pretty easily. For example, I could support my nephew's love of rock climbing and get the same discount.
It also...
I wasn't, but now that you made me realize it's 8 inches longer than a Navigator maybe I should be!
Both of my cars now are really small, so it'll just be something to get used to when I'm parking or changing lanes.
So you realized know one knows anything but pumped this lady for information anyway, then when she proved she doesn't know anything you got frustrated?
Three ways: you back out, the dealer is overcome by greed, or ineptitude. If your Jeep is sitting there fresh off the truck and someone walks in offering to pay 5 grand over sticker for it, maybe there's a little "mixup" and that person drives off in your Jeep. Or, maybe there's just an honest...
There are some screen caps of option packages. This one makes me think it is glass, because I can't come up with a reason to make fitted a storage bag for a plastic window.
Of course, I could be (and often am) wrong.
