I had a feeling the JT Gladiator was going to get the JL Sahara Auto Selec-Trac transmission. Good catch! Kind of makes sense to have that transmission with a truck body. (Light rear end) We already know the 4.10 axle and the 3.0L V6 Diesel is coming from the leaked towing number chart. But I'm...
I can guarantee it you were seeing a AEV Brute Double Cab conversion JK, not the new JL. The only 2019 JT Gladiator ever spotted is covered in black camo. Since you didn't get a picture, then I can't confirm my statement, but if it was not cover from head to toe in black plastic camo, then I bet...
Good point... That makes sense for the JT (the elongated shape).
But wonder how they going to pull that off (DEF filler) on the JLU....there is only space for one filler. That will be a tight squeeze to get both Diesel & DEF in that one hole.
(I know the EcoDiesel isn't coming to the 2 door...
That's the fuel filler, not a vent. If you think about where the gas filler is on the JL, on the JT it would be in front of the rear wheels.
My question is, I wonder where they plan on putting the DEF filler for the EcoDiesel. There has to be a separate filler for that.

I think their will be a Gladiator Sport (Base) for Fleet. It will be FCA's answer to the mid-size truck fleet marketing towards GM, Nissan, and Toyota base/fleet models. But the fact it's convertible would be the only reason there would not be a fleet model Gladiator, unless they put a...
Currently I would like to see on the JT:
1. Sky One-Touch Power top on the Gladiator
2. Diesel Engine Brake
3. Integrated Brake Controller
*since the Gladiator will have a max towing capacity of 6,500 lbs and has a 7 & 4 electric brake plugs.
Only Mopar concept builds. I don't remember them ever unveiling a production model at the Easter Safari. Maybe a concept that became a production trim, like the WK2 Trailhawk.
Popular North America "Truck" Auto Shows where the Gladiator JT could be unveiled at.
· Chicago: where the 2005 Jeep Gladiator Concept was unveiled, "the truck" that started all the begging for a production Jeep truck.
· State Fair of Texas: this fair has it's own auto show, which is kind of...
Gladiator Base = Trim Level - Wrangler Sport
Gladiator Premium = Trim Level - Wrangler Rubicon
Or like Kevin said, they haven't figured our trim level names yet.
But how Gladiator was known to be a decal on the hood of Jeep where on Wrangler's "Rubicon" is also a hood decal. Maybe that's why...
It is kind of difficult to pin point where to measure from when it still is mostly covered up with the spy camo. But I tried looking at the less covered JL Unlimited, from a couple of days ago, for reference.
The backseat of Ford F-Series SuperCrew can't be beat! The full-size trucks of the F-Series, particularly the Super Duty was going to be my next truck, to replace my 2002 F-150. But 1. I can't do a $800+ monthly payment. 2. In Arkansas, they are doing their best to banned recreational ATVs &...
Scaling up the body-on-frame JT Gladiator to the unibody Ridgeline. From the front driver door line to the back of the cab (bed gap) the Ridgeline is 7" longer. Where the Gladiator's cab is almost center from the length of the hood & front bumper, same as the length of the bed. The Ridgeline's...
Here is the Gladiator's competition comparison in wheelbase and bed length.
All the factory numbers from GM, Toyota, and Ford (AU). The Gladiator's numbers are just estimations.
This is my first post to Jeep Gladiator Forum. New member to the JL & JT forums, but been following along with the new JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator for awhile now.
The new Gladiator has been in the back of my mind for awhile now, even though I'm more of a full-size truck fan. I've been wanting to...
