the versatility of the gladiator was my interest as i like open air, BUT the lack of a decent box to haul as this is not just a toy + one truck is costly + add the fact that theirs too many doors killed my interest!! loose the back doors + use the room for a real box!!
with typical FCA quality or lack of nothing surprises me!! although i like the gladiators "convertability" its price + lack of quality keeps my $$$ where it is!!
like many choices theres no right or wrong just preferences, i like chocolate-you like vanilla both fine but different. i like to see various options + sometimes want to do similar because i seen it!
as i noted before like harleys owners put up with whatever they are!! even most convertibles have their quirks that come with the design + wind noise is one. my 2001 TT roadster is fairly quiet but drips a bit during heavy rains but i still enjoy the open air ride which is why i am interested in...
most look good IMO + depending on usage a lower center of gravity handles a LOT better. many owners just like the higher ride look + NEVER really benefit from it as many 4WD owners seldom go off road, but 4WD is handy in any slippy conditions, think SNOW!!! the Mahindra "jeeps" are prolly 2WD +...
too new + popular IMO + jeep buyers will get price gouged for a while like all jeeps!! easy for me as i will never buy a 4 dr pickup + need a real box to haul !! safe for now!
it works but the outdated V-6 is likely a bit weak IMO from a test drive compared to my 2011 frontier's V-6 with trouble free port injection, a very dated but reliable engine as well
as good as the nude gladiator looks it would be better as a 2 door + a longer functional box!!! a lot of $$$ for something that won't replace my cheaper nissan frontier SV king cab + 6 spd manual!
the short box is a deal breaker for sure + add that to too many doors many myself included will never buy, but the convertible is a big selling point for sure, maybe later on a longer box 2 dr will be made!!
box looks bigger in person but not big enough for my needs to replace my 2011 frontier SV with king cab, so hoping for a longer box + only 2 full doors for function as well as looks!
i would order a manual trannied gladiator with less cab-2 door + more box so it can replace my frontier! until then no sale + a better price would be good while removing a lot of unnecessary junk i will never use!
as long as they keep selling OVERPRICED products they will stay OVERPRICED!!! 4 WD pickups surely fit there, myself i usually buy PREOWNED because i CAN't afford new + think they are NOT worth the $$$$!!! preowned is no bargain but saving 10G's or so is a lot on a newer truck. you look at year...
i will let OTHERS be the Beta Testers, hoping the issues of sloppy welding as well as poor steering will be solved!! i like jeeps but not being a died in the wool "Jeeper" will not tolerate an inferior build at what will surely be an overpriced vehicle!!! already having a house with more than 2...
i am VERY pleased with my 11 frontier SV 4.0 4WD that replaced my crashed 08 colly so the JT gotta be better + be able to haul a 1/2 ton, only 2 doors need apply + price may be too much for now but preowned in a few years could work. i would really like a "fresh air" pickup + thats my interest...
todays markups are so OUTRAGEOUS the discounts are easily given + profit margins remain high!!! 10 grand off $50,000 plus tanks aka trucks + they are still making $$$$
i am still interested, but since an unfortunate "offroad" encounter aka sliding on ice into the woods + totalling my colorado i got a 2011 nissan frontier SV with only 28,000 on it + its a very nice truck! its a manual 6 spd with a good performing V-6, so if the JT proves to be a good option i...
you can add the ford ranger + bronco to the mix as well. they never quit overseas just usa, for those that want a truck not a TANK!!!. i find my 08 colorado IDEAL, standard cab short box stick shift + 4WD $14,000 in 08 with 12,000 miles on it virtually new, everyone today is getting RAPED!!!!!
