I started getting symptoms of a dead aux battery, including start/stop unavailable and aux switches unavailable. I replaced the aux battery, then the main battery as it went out a couple weeks later.
All seems good, except that start/stop error light persists. It's been a couple weeks ago I...
It's time once again to play "Name that part!" I found this 8" S-hook hanging from a bracket above the rear exhaust close to the bumper. It was rubbing against the rear exhaust can/muffler. I didn't see where it could possibly attach. If someone could peek under their Jeep and see if anything...
Includes red hooks but no fog lights. All hardware and plastic filler strip included. The bumper has a few scratches on it from a fall off my workbench and the skid plate looks brand new.
$50. Pickup near Evergreen, CO or we could arrange to meet nearby. Cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
At the advice of a friend, I decided to give the Smitty x20 a shot on this Jeep. I paired it with a RockHard 4x4 aluminum bumper, FWIW. Install was straight forward so I'm not going to go through that, but I did have a couple issues I wanted to share.
First issue: After I had the bumper and...
This cover was on my truck from the end of October until last week when I replaced it with an ARE cap. It was always in a garage on a lightly driven truck, 2000 miles since install. All that to say it's in great condition. You will want to pick up some 1" weatherstrip to go on the top of the bed...
Removed at 900 miles, look brand new with zero scratches/dents. I'll also include the mounting hardware, if you need it. $300 obo, located in SE Aurora but I can meet you in the Denver metro area.
I traditionally go with steel for my Jeep protection, but with my planned use of the JT as a tow vehicle with occasional wheeling I'm thinking of weight a bit more than previous Jeeps. Aluminum seems like it may be a good choice for me, but I'm not seeing many offerings out there yet. So far...
Located in the Denver metro area, take-offs from a 2020 Gladiator with only 480 miles.

Unless I'm missing it, not a single physical prototype or design is being shown at Sema for the Gladiator. Are the main players (Leer, ARE, etc.) even at the show? It would be great to hear directly from them, if possible. @JAY
Other than trying to retrofit a topper made for a different truck, I've seen zilch on a hard topper built for the JT. Am I missing something or just too early? Anyone hear of something like this in the works by an aftermarket vendor?
I may be a bit in the minority here, but with my mixed use of wheeling and RV towing my perfect trim would be a Rubicon with 7650lbs towing. Looking at current options I see two choices:
Buy a Rubicon with the tow package and go to the aftermarket for:
Wider front & rear axles, Dana 44 or 60...
At the end of the build tool on jeep.com, I noticed a "weight distribution" section on the Summary tab under the Dimensions and Capacities section. Regardless of build options, it's always "Not Available". Anyone know what that's referring to? A factory sway control capability for towing, perhaps?
I wonder if this will impact the engines available for the first or second year of release. Certainly doesn't instill confidence in a buyer to choose that engine (like me.)
