Yup, required in the US by law now. As an aside they make hooking up a trailer solo super easy since you have a direct view of the ball in the camera usually. And especially since the Gladiator will apparently offer some sort of trailer hitch zoom feature per the specs.
I think I remember reading that it was tied into the door lock/unlock. But that was a while back...so dunno.

Gladiator will be the vehicle I use to get into overlanding. I'd like to set it up with a nice bed rack, maybe the decked drawer system as well. I've got an M416 trailer I'm planning on fixing up as a base camp with mounts for an RTT eventually.
