Just starting a thread for all things related to the Metalcloak suspension systems. I PM'ed them on facebook today. They told me the current ETA for their 3.5" lift in 4-6wks out. After that once comes to market they will work on a 2.5" lift, followed by a higher lift. So good news. It's coming!!

So the big draw for me is easier city parking and the ability to navigate tight mountain switchbacks. Do anybody have an idea how the turning radius compares to a JL, JLU, other similar midsized trucks and the half tonnes? Do we have numbers yet?

Just checked the Jeep build and price page. They have re-added the ecodiesel to the '18 Grand Cherokee build option list. I have checked periodically for a while since 2017 when they removed it due to teh whole "emissions" thing. This could be a good sign for the JT.

Seeing how well the JL fits 37"s with just a 2-3 inch lift, makes me think I'll likely go with 37"s on the diesel JT when I get one. Just curious. How do y'all think we'll have to carry over sized spares. What's the biggest size y'all think will fit in the factory position? Other carrying...
