Just drove back home after a 4 day camp trip in Nevada City. Had a lifted Dodge and 2 modded Tundras in our group as well! Averaged 25mpg even with full load, passengers and mountain uphill country roads.
And one of the main reason why I got my '23 diesel before the stock dried up in my area. Even when I bought mine, I had a red and another white that I test drove and they were sold the same week. At $49k discounted prices, people were scooping these up back in the year.
If the diesel didnt...
ONLY reason why I bought my Gladiator is the diesel offering. Already test drove new gen Tacoma, GMC Canyon AT4 and new Ranger. They all have shyte gas milege and still smaller rear seats.
I test drove the diesel Glady, then went back and bought it since dealer had the $49k discounted price...
^ I didnt bother...I was just glad to get it back. And I'm planning to keep this for 100K (unless it starts falling apart or diesel emissions issue). So not really concerned with the diminished value factor. Last diesel was my BMW X5 (no longer made) and it lasted me well over 80k with very...
Heya
Yessir. It was so emotional to pick my my baby last week. The repair shop went above and beyond..they ordered the exact window visors I had and also swapped out the rock rails with my RC side steps. And then polished the whole exterior and treated the inside with some sorta "leather"...
I've only owned my oil burner for a few months (also my 1st Jeep!). Was driving back home after helping my kid move out of college. Was parked at a red light and there was a Mojave in the oncoming lane. As he turned and made the turn, he honked at at me and then did the "wave". I also honked in...
Only 600 miles on mine but 24mpg average so far. Extremely pleased. Mix of highway and intown since I work from home and I usually steal my wife's IX electric for short trips. On freeway, this thing really shines!!
Wipes tear from eye. Finally picked up my baby (400 miles only when the t bone happened).
Repair shop did a marvelous job and there was a LOT of hidden damage once they removed the panels and seats. Repair cost came out to $26k and took 10 weeks to complete as Jeep was backordered on some...
^ All those links are for the derringer tuner (along with pedal monster). I'm looking for feedback with people with only pedal monster :). I'm not looking to tune anything.
Cheers.
I love the diesel drive-train but don't like the turbo lag. I was checking out the interweb and banks pedal monster came up on several forums but some say it doesnt really reduce the turbo lag but kinda "hides it". I'm ok with $300 ...as a PC builder and home theater nut, I've spent $XXX on...
One of the reasons why I financed thru my local credit bank when I bought my oil burner. Dealer was super annoying cos I didnt go thru their high APR Chrysler financing but in the end, they wanted to sell the truck so caved in and let me use my Golden One bank.
I haven't posted here for a while since my brand new diesel with 400 miles was t-boned by a 16 yr old texting driver and its been in the repair shop for 10 weeks. Finally got the call from the adviser that truck is ready for pickup this Thursday and they also swapped out my rock rails with the...
If this makes ya feel any better, here's my brand new diesel with only 300 miles t-boned by a 16 yr high school student. Not as bad as yours but it's a $24k repair from the geico insurance shop. They are literally replacing even the wiring harness from Jeep (on back order). Repair ETA is 6 weeks...
I'm in CA and we have super chargers like everywhere in every city. I'm in Sacramento area and have taken road trips in winter to Lake Tahoe and to LA a lot of times and public charging (FREE!) was never an issue. Had to wait for that one off Audi E Tron or that Mercededs EV but it was fun...
I love my oil burner but nothing bad on my bmw IX....we've already put a whooping 8k since last Nov and I'd highly recommend test driving a Rivian etc...EV is super low maintenance and the newer gen has over 350 miles+ range easily. No spark plugs, no moving parts, no tranny nor engine ...just a...
Driving a overland rental right now with all season tires.....45k ('22 model). And 17mpg average ...obviously, people have been driving it like they stole it but rock solid engine (it's a gasser). Though on its 2nd windshield...lol (which is already chipped!).
Can't wait for my diesel to get...
Very close to ordering this for my diesel to get rid of the turbo lag (for stop-n-go traffic). I do know all it does is make the pedal more sensitive but apparently, there's a little bit more involved where it mimizes the turbo lag. Since the install is so easy and kinda hidden, do I have to...
