@JeepCares You helped me with this issue about a year ago. They replace the cover, but over the past three months the same issue is occuring again. I can push the seal down on the sides like they should be, but after high way speeds, it lifts and then instead of curling at the edge to seal it...

There is a legitimate problem with the defrosters on this thing and he comes in here telling me to just put "plugs" in the vent of my $50k vehicle as a fix, then follows it up with a picture of "proof" there is no issue that clearly shows ice building up in the wiper path. Lmao. I love people.

You are missing the point. If the area your wiper clears is icing over, it WILL ice over your wipers

If that's not ice there, then you might want to clean your windows every now and then because it literally is boring your vision to all hell right there.

You can literally see on yours that ice has built up where the wipers still clear. That will cause the wipers to ice up and on any long trip will stop clearing the windows and require you to pull over and clear everytni g manually.

I'm not worried about heat, I am getting enough of that. I'm worried that it only comes out the middle third and it never clears the outside portion (mainly right where you are looking on both sides of the windshield).

I think he is asking if you are using the defrost button it if you are relying on the auto button for defrost. My issue is with both. I've tried both ways and get the same result.

No. There is a dedicated button for the defroster and that's what they are talking about. I have let it run and if it's coming down good it just builds up like crazy on the side third of the windows. You can see where the vent goes from side to side and you can't get air out of 2/3 of the vent...

I've owned multiple Ford's...the only thing reliable about them is the brochures..so why would I waste them?

Also, please feel your Defrost vents when it is running. You get air out the left and right side or just the middle. Every gladiator I have Tested are all the same...just out the middle .

Feel your Defrost vents. Tell me if it comes out of the right and left, not just the middle.

Yep. Massive safety issue and needs to be addressed immediately and a recall issued. It's so bad that I guarantee accidents arise from this.

Have now dealt with one full winter and the beginning of this one with a gladiator and the ice forming on the windows in a snow storm is awful.
