He really didn't drive that CJ-8. It was a gift from AMC. He still drove his green over red CJ-6 even after he got the CJ-8.

Also, the paint booths are pretty efficient. They can paint different colors from vehicle to vehicle.
The sprayers are so well programmed that they are able to cover the entire shell - rather than a paint dip.

The assembly line isn't like the old days where the vehicle is built from start to finish. There are so many parts that come from off the line. Like a bunch of on ramps to a highway.
The beauty is that all the parts are sent to the line in the order that they are needed.

Crazy how well the Honda Ridgeline is reviewed. The JT eats the regular Jeep Wrangler points (noisy, bumpy, etc.).
Makes me wonder if the Ridgeline is decent? We usually kinda laugh at them.
There were plenty of overlays back when the YJ was the newest Jeep.
I'd imagine the JT/JK dash will have plenty of aftermarket options.

They'd have to stuff the half doors, boxed, into the Jeep as it leaves the assembly line. Same thing that's done when the Jeep has the dual top option, the soft top is in the Jeep with two boxes for the windows.
Been there a few times. Gets bigger every year. The camp ground is better than the fairgrounds. You get a lot of western PA / Ohio folks there.
It's an actual campground, there are RV hookups and all. Reserving one is a race though, good luck. There are some other campgrounds in the area that...
They'll be selling these turds across the planet. Although with the time gap between the older defender model and this one.. the Toyota trucks have filled in that gap pretty well. Hilux and Prado models.
