  1. Video: TFL hands-on with Jeep Gladiator

Or it’s just a REALLY mean April Fools joke!!!
  2. Second thoughts

Love the 1964-1969 Gladiator! Good luck. I wish I had the time, skills and garage space to get a classic like that.
  3. Second thoughts

anyone else starting to second guess their plans to purchase a gladiator? When it was initially revealed I was all in. But all this time waiting to open the order banks and provide pricing has kinda given time to get away and think that really this is an impulse buy. Right now we don’t need...
  4. Bedliner?

I plan on purchasing a 4x6 horse rubber stall mat, cut it to fit and see how that works. Cheap, easy and “custom”. The perfect combination.
  5. Best way to buy a car in Idaho, then immediately drive 1500 miles home?

You can do either way. When you get a quote you get MSRP and invoice. So you can say I got 16% off MSRP. It’s pretty clear when you order. I will happily post my build and pricing when FCA releases the pricing so people have a chance to look at it for themselves
  6. Best way to buy a car in Idaho, then immediately drive 1500 miles home?

My understanding is that the dealership pays less than invoice, gets a “bonus” from certain lenders for using them for financing, and can get additional incentives from Jeep as being a top seller. So it’s kinda like Costco for some dealerships who do the math and would rather sell high volume...
  7. Best way to buy a car in Idaho, then immediately drive 1500 miles home?

My discussions with Kent was any trim via orders (not from his allocated stock). He does require Financing through his preferred bank, but can payoff or refinance anytime after 3(or 4?) months.
  8. Best way to buy a car in Idaho, then immediately drive 1500 miles home?

There really are only two dealers that would be worth looking at Dennis Dillon and Peterson. I have talked with Kent at Peterson and he is doing 8% below invoice for the JT. Now just waiting on the price to see what 8% below really means.
  9. How to negotiate?

Agreed! I went out to Nampa and met with Kent and test drive the JLU. We are waiting on pricing to decide between the JLU vs Gladiator. Kent did call me before the holidays and checked in, he did let me know he will be doing his standard 8% under invoice when the Gladiator is released. He is...
  10. Gladiator or Wrangler

I don’t think you sound like a jerk. I have a Jk...it is too small for my needs now, even though it is awesome off road. The JLU may be big enough, but without having one or using one for an extended period I just don’t know. The gladiator would meet the cargo room needs and have more...
  11. Gladiator or Wrangler

I think this makes great sense. I have been leaning towards the gladiator but the wait is killing! I think everyone is right, my wife has panic attacks with any serious rock crawling so don’t expect anything too crazy. The usefulness of the bed plus towing I think seals the deal. There are so...
  12. Gladiator or Wrangler

Thank you!! I don’t have towing needs now. But the option to tow a trailer is something I am considering. Also the extra room for those home improvements trips is a plus as well. I have never owed a truck (always just borrowed my fathers) but feel like the bed is an added bonus. I am not...
  13. Gladiator or Wrangler

Alright I want to get opinions here as I am struggling between waiting for the gladiator vs getting the JLU wrangler. Besides the unknown price differences and the obvious differences, Why should I get a gladiator instead of a Wrangler? I currently own a 2017 2 door jk and a Toyota Highlander...
  14. What Jeep Gladiator aftermarket products would you like to see?

After looking a little closer and reading others reviews. I think the issue that I see is getting to gear under the hardtop cover, appears not recommended to open up the cover when there are cargo or things on the rack. What I think I really want is a trifold hardtop cover with racks above it...
  15. What Jeep Gladiator aftermarket products would you like to see?

Just looked up the Ridgelander after reading this and absolutely agree! That is EXACTLY what I would want for my JT. Adding to the ever growing list of upgrades and accessories
  16. Official Press Release: 2020 Jeep Gladiator Specs & Photos

I had the same concerns. I searched the internet and confirmed same widths between the JT and JL. Also found where those in JLs were using theee car seats across (albeit requiring more narrow car seats than are typical). After going and looking at the JLs I feel like two car seats and a child...
  17. Rear seat drink holders

I bet you can get your dealer to throw in a book or two.... :)
  18. PRICING : JK INCREASED TO JL = JT PRICING

According to google maps 36 hours..however it may be slower if you decide to make any necessary detours to test out your new JT
  19. PRICING : JK INCREASED TO JL = JT PRICING

Me too! Kent is a great guy. I went and test road the JLU and discussed JT vs JLU. In the end the JT will be a better all around vehicle for us and since we aren’t in a hurry (besides my own impatience) we will get the JT when open for ordering. Kent told me same pricing and deals for JT as he...
  20. What’s being said in interviews

I hope so...I like the optimism! Any speculation on when “late availability” colors will be available...
