Earlier this week marked 4 years and 80K miles that Iāve been in a JT and I still couldnāt be happier. Hell, I love this thing even more than I did then!

This platform has been perfect for me. I daily it, tow with it, load it up, and wheel it hard as often as possible. Only...

Best all-around platform IMO. You get the bed, legendary Jeep off-road pedigree, huge aftermarket support, towing ability, and driveability. I DD mine, wheel it, tow with it, road-trip with it, and donāt have a single complaint. Couldnāt be happier with the platform.
Almost 4 years in, and Iām even happier than I was day 1, and thatās saying something. I doubt Iāll ever be without a gladiator again. Itās just an all-around great, versatile platform for everything we do.
Yeah, I tried to stay away from the traditional vent clips for sure. Wasn't a huge fan of the idea of any vent blockage at all, but this one has proven to be very sturdy and while it does block the vent some, the tradeoff of having the phone where it is was worth it for me. Hope that helps.
I chose this one (https://amzn.to/3WeUIRq) for the same reason you mentioned, not wanting to further diminish the already limited windshield view. Very sturdy, easy to install, and puts the phone in a great spot right next to the head unit.
