  1. Sunrider with Spiderwebshade?

I did the same, but a retractable version that specifically fits the sunrider sure would be nice. They'll have my money the day they release it.
  2. 4 years in…

Just the usual stuff. Oil changes every 5K, tire rotations every 2K. On my third set of tires, 1 cooling system flush and 2 diff fluid changes.
  3. 4 years in…

Earlier this week marked 4 years and 80K miles that Iā€™ve been in a JT and I still couldnā€™t be happier. Hell, I love this thing even more than I did then! šŸ¤˜šŸ¼ This platform has been perfect for me. I daily it, tow with it, load it up, and wheel it hard as often as possible. Only...
  4. Last Year of the Gladiator (2024) -- says dealer

Dealers donā€™t know shit ahead of time. We almost always know more than they do, thanks to these forums. They love to make shit up though to try to sound like theyā€™ve got some kind of breaking news. The ā€˜last year of productionā€™ or ā€˜limited productionā€™ rumors are one of the oldest sales tactics...
  5. 100,000 mile Gladiator review

That he's retired. He's back to racking up the miles again.
  6. The "No Complaints" Thread

Itā€™ll be 4 years next month. 76K miles and not a single issue that wasnā€™t self-inflicted. Still love it as much as (or more than) day 1.

    Iā€™m calling BS šŸ˜†
  8. Dealer damaged drain plug

The common issue is that dealers put the lowest paid flunkies in the oil change bay. Change your own oil, or regret it later.
  9. Gladiator Off-road Capability

Best all-around platform IMO. You get the bed, legendary Jeep off-road pedigree, huge aftermarket support, towing ability, and driveability. I DD mine, wheel it, tow with it, road-trip with it, and donā€™t have a single complaint. Couldnā€™t be happier with the platform.
  10. Quality of life upgrades?

This step: https://mountainoffroad.com/products/hide-a-step-black-jl And this phone holder: https://amzn.to/3wlZYrS have been perfect for us.
  11. Happier Then or Happier Now?

Almost 4 years in, and Iā€™m even happier than I was day 1, and thatā€™s saying something. I doubt Iā€™ll ever be without a gladiator again. Itā€™s just an all-around great, versatile platform for everything we do.
  12. 3 Years in a JT - How It's Going

Awesome man, congrats! Enjoy the journey šŸ¤˜šŸ¼
  13. Looking for a unicorn phone mount. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I tried to stay away from the traditional vent clips for sure. Wasn't a huge fan of the idea of any vent blockage at all, but this one has proven to be very sturdy and while it does block the vent some, the tradeoff of having the phone where it is was worth it for me. Hope that helps.
  14. Looking for a unicorn phone mount. Any suggestions?

I chose this one (https://amzn.to/3WeUIRq) for the same reason you mentioned, not wanting to further diminish the already limited windshield view. Very sturdy, easy to install, and puts the phone in a great spot right next to the head unit. https://amzn.to/3WeUIRq
  15. What kind of plug do you keep in your rear end?

Additional recovery points never hurt. https://amzn.to/3OMljDk
