Im waiting to see a cap that resembles the rear of a wrangler cap, making the gladiator look like an extended jeep, I think thats the only way a cap will look good on a gladiator.
I think the fact that theres nothing actually special about the launch edition will make them worth the same as every other Gladiator in the resale market. It has a badge and a different color dash, every other option is available on every other Gladiator. I think buying a truck and storing it...
I have owned a couple different hammocks types for my dogs and the fault is always the bottom plastic part that makes them water proof ends up cracking and peeling over time and ends up all over the seats. Another thing to think about is the inside of the doors, my dogs like to put their paws on...
If i buy one I will just turn it off every drive or disconnect the hood closed sensor which disables it. I drive stick and do some coasting here in there and last thing Id want is my engine shutting off while coasting.
Yeah give it time, when they're not selling the price will go down, if they are able to sell them at MSRP then they will continue to do so. Here in Boston I haven't seen one actually on the road yet.
I think right now dealers are testing the waters. I too have seen a Gladiator Rubi parked right in front of a dealer on a main highway for a couple weeks now. Dealers are going to try and sell as many at MSRP or above to the early adopters who dont want to wait and once all those people get...
Thanks for the review. Im surprised but not surprised at the same time by the MPG being the same as the frontier, Frontier has a 4.0 v6 which has been in use for what atleast 10 years now? The Jeep has a newer 3.5 v6 with its silly start stop system and still only gets the same MPG as an older...
I did some fast forwarding, one part I agree with is that the EPA has ruined the auto market. Just think of the cost that went in to the idiotic start stop system alone, and you start to realize why new cars cost so much, its not so much inflation or cost of new tech its the cost of engineering...
The Taco does have a stick option and I wish I picked one up back in 2015 when they had the 4.0 but the new model since 2016+ has a 3.5 camry engine and its very under powered, I test drove a stick one and it could barely get out of its own way. Mileage is not a factor for me so having the 5.7...
Sorry I should have explained more. My limit I was willing to spend on a gladiator was 35k. The Tundra I am looking at is the Platinum which is loaded with everything and can be had for 45k and is a much more capable truck except offroad which I do zero of unless you count driving on a beach to...
I think I'm out. I wanted the gladiator because it comes in stick but after building what i want Im looking around 40k and I get a better equipped tundra for not much more, albeit not stick shift but i just cant justify it in my head. The color matched hard top being 2200 just blows me away. I...
Oh that must have been what i seen then. Is the rear window section of the soft top actually solid though? I remember hearing the rear window is glass so it must be right? Bet there will be a mod to be a 4 piece top for easy bed storage of the top if the soft top already has a separate rear...
