I was really looking forward to Gator, but I'm not so sure how it will look in Beryl green. I guess I'm going to have to see one before I make up my mind... it's highly likely I may end up wanting a different color.

There's a button on the dash to disable it for that driving session. It has a second battery to maintain the radio and all your creature comforts. If that battery gets too low, it'll just restart the engine again. So really, it's no big deal.

It took me a few times driving the JL to get used to it because I hadn't driven a car with that feature before. I don't like or dislike it, it's just different.

Good point :) I wonder if they'll do a reverse conversion... take a JT and shorten it to a 2 door cab....

Without mentioning names, do you think they're a little pissed that Jeep is producing a truck again? I know they do other services like engine swaps and suspension mods, but it must surely take a bite out of their business.

That's a LOT of work just to change that corner of the rear door.... reminds me of the type stuff that Chip Foose would do on his Overhauling show.
