This is an interesting response since this also happens in my Gladiator but with the manual transmission. I'm guessing it has to do with throttle-body programming and it likely changes to a new setting after 2k RPM.

Yep, same here. Had a rock strike the lower driver-side section right below the wiper arm and that was that. We'll see how long the replacement lasts but I heard they are not offering the GG windshield as an option right now.

Dropped that crap in May after waiting almost 2 years, got my Gladiator in August.
SOOOO much happier with a truck bed and my GobiRubi :). I will never be a Ford customer after how badly I was treated as a day 1 Badlands reserve.
just posting here as my Instant MPG has run-off as-well. Can't seem to figure out how to reboot the infotainment to reset it.
