For our JKU i use a Harken hoist and then just went to lowes and got a boat trailer winch for like 15 bucks. Its a hand crank one but works!!

How I did it on my Tundra was to install a 3 position switch in the cab and tapped into the high beam wire. So I had an option of lightbar on with the switch, Off and then on with the high beams.

Not completely simple. To get the halos to work you need to run a wire to the BCM and also will need a dealer to flash the BCM or use a tazer to program them.

Love ours on the JKU only thing that can make it a bitch to take all the way off is if you have a sunshade. trying to line up the freedom panel wingnuts that go thru the hardtop can be a pain to get lined up and thru the grommets on the sunshade.

I could have swore like a month ago they didnt work on the non LED models? could be wrong. What lights are you going with that beat OEM right now that are 9", Maybe the orcacle bi-LED projector ones? Ill add the quake LEDS only work with the Rubicon fenders just so everyone knows

The LED package is more than just the headlights. Having the LED fender lights makes the options for aftermarket lighting on those open up a lot. The slim line fender lights and the Morimoto ones just to mention a few.

They will but i think you need the LED package for them to work. If no LEDs then you will need an adapter and tazer to make them work correctly The JL sport vs Sahara and Rubicons have a 4 wire connector vs the 3 wire in the Sports

We pull ours off for the summer and just use the freedom tops if we need to put the top back on for rain or something. but run the sunrider for when the top will be on for a long time because sometimes you get pretty days

We have one on our JKU and its easy but a pain in the a$$ at the same time. We have an alien sunshade and to get the grommets to line up and get the freedom top bolts(these secure the top in the back just like the freedom top bolts on the freedom tops) to start is a test of patience

As soon as my dealer gets the Sport S in with a soft top, ill be trading my Rebel for it. Love the rebel and power of the hemi but really want the removable top and doors. The wifey drives bad ass JKU and I want a jeep but also need a truck!

I prefer the morimoto super7s or just a straight up retro with some OEM Osram bulbs!!! Dont get me wrong the stock LED is a good option but i love a nice crisp clean cut off. The OEMs seem to have some light bleed over the cut off

My plan is to keep my JKU and trade the Rebel for the new JT Rubicon if all goes well....

You are talking about a TRD Pro for 42K or just a TRD? if you got a PRO loaded for 42K then you got one hell of a deal. Dealers around me want MSRP or mark up on the PROs!!!

What options are in a fully loaded ram then? I'm speaking about the 17-18s, not the new ones. I think I only don't have leather, cooled seats and ram boxes. I have a sunroof, nav, alpine system. I know the new ones have the 19 speaker HK system and that massive 12" screen.
