I've owned a JK Sahara and currently a JL Sahara both with hard tops . I've never had an issue with it not being lined at all. I live in NH where we can have brutal winters and it's never been an issue

I didn't notice much of an increase in noise levels at all. I got the twill version though. not sure how the sailcloth would do.

We just put the Bestop sun rider on our JL. It's a nice option for this time of year where you have bursts of warmer weather with very cold weather.

It is illegal in Pa to have your doors off. Apparently they have been fighting to change this. It's perfectly legal up here in the northeast.
