With the 850RE automatic, stock Rubi 4.10 gears, and stock 285/70R17 tires that measure 32.8" unmounted and likely around 32" mounted and under full load, these are the specs in the attached pics.

With 37x12.50R17s that run 36.7 unmounted...
With a short wheelbase, narrow vehicle, like a Suzuki Samari, that might matter.
With a 2' lift on 37s, on a vehicle with such a long wheelbase as a Gladiator, the reason to get wheels with less backspacing is more so that the tires don't rub on the front lower control arms on a full lock...
I think it depends upon how you plan on using your truck. If you are doing expedition wheeling, where you rarely are going to need to use the lockers, and you aren't bouncing through things and a higher throttle, I'd sincerely doubt that you'd ever have a problem with 37s on stock axles.
