Update… it took over a month since my initial visit to the dealer and they requested it but “corporate just approved the replacement of my rear window under warranty”. The dealer will call me when it’s in to schedule installation.
I told them I hope all the water has some way of getting out...
Wow! Congrats! It’s been 3+ weeks and I haven’t heard back from my dealership regarding replacing the rear window despite leaving multiple messages after confirmation from them that “my rear window needs to be replaced yet needs approval from corporate”. #JeepCares
What’s the easiest way to replicate the sloshing sound to the dealership especially if it hasn’t rained in a while? My truck only does it sometimes but you can see on the rear window where water has run down the inside (and is now dry). Also… where does this water pool up and create the sloshing...
Who cares? Both vehicles serve different purposes. Neither of these vehicles is a wise financial investment. Vehicles in general aren’t a wise financial investment. Buy what you need, enjoy it, then move on.
Maybe it’s the mud tires, but I think it’s just you 😂 . I live where it rains massively 6 months / year. No issues. My JT is no different than my other vehicles in that respect.
30k miles later I still love it! I’d buy another without hesitation.
I think the one I test drove must have had the steering box issue. The one I purchased handled much better. I haven’t needed to replace the steering box as mine doesn’t wander like what others talk about here on the forum.
