  1. Factory vs LineX bedliner

While I can't compare the factory with Line-X, I have a launch edition gladiator (so coming up on 4 years old) and the factory liner has held up just fine and I've tossed all kinds of things in there for dump runs and such.
  2. Survey- For those with misfire issues

At just over 51000 miles I had a P0306 on my Launch Edition Gladiator this last weekend. After seeing that it'd take motor surgery to get to the spark plugs and coils I took it to the dealer that I was luckily near (was on a long road trip). They replaced the #6 coil and I had them replace all...
  3. What Insurance Rates and Loan APR % is everyone getting ?

Be careful with windshield replacement. I was multi-vehicle and house insured with Safeco, good rates and service, had the full deal, 11 years with them. No incidents, tickets, claims, etc.. I did have a couple windshields replaced though under that coverage. Then I move to a different state and...
  4. Automated car wash issue

Maybe they ask because she is hitting the brakes and messing with the conveyor? I've used an automated wash numerous times with no issue.
  5. Uconnect 8.4 Rebooting while driving

A couple months ago mine started rebooting not long after I started it. Thought it was the phone being connected, then it looked more like the transition from radio to backup camera, but finally I decided that it was just some sort of bug or whatever. Took the truck in today for an oil change...
  6. Gaia GPS With Offroad Navigation Maps Now Available For Apple CarPlay

Ooh.. This may be perfect in that I can ditch mounting the iPad now.
  7. Front ParkSense defect

I have an LE so metal bumper. I'm not aware of any parking sensors in that bumper and haven't had any signals from the front. Maybe just the non-metal bumpers have them? On the other side, I just use my trail cam when I'm inching up on something.
  8. Winch options kind of overwhelmed

Can you post a pic of your trail cam with the Maximus stinger? Interested in seeing how much is blocked and what is visible for the tire path and stuff. Especially with the winch in there.
  9. MPG and range

I'm about that for my commute, but I fight wind in one direction and hills in the other. Overall average is in the high 17's. If I have the rooftop tent and rack on the average drops about 1.5mpg. With the LE version I'm dragging more weight around and its automatic, which may also be a contributor.
  10. Maximus-3 JT Hoops and Stinger

If you ever get someone with a trail camera to mount the stinger bar, it would be cool to see how obstructed the view is. Really like that bar, but I do have the camera. No way to not block the camera to some extent, but if the important parts are visible I'm adding this to my "list" of things...
  11. Windshield washer sprayer

Yeah, the aerodynamics of it push the fluid to the lower part of the windshield at highway speeds. Might be able to improve it with one of those bug deflector things that attaches to the front of the hood. Haven't take that approach yet but I might at some point here.
  12. Gladiator fuel overflowing.

I've learned with my '17 Trailhawk and continue with my Gladiator to stop when the auto shutoff stops the gas. If I try and top-off after the auto shutoff to hit a nice round multiple of $0.25 I always run the risk of a burp of a bit of gas.
  13. Is posting license plates on the forums a bad idea?

As a prior Dept of Defense person who had their stuff exposed in a hack years ago, I consider all of that info to be public domain at this point. Also had it exposed in the Equifax hack, yay for online storage of everything related to me. I can't have my credit unlocked for more than a couple of...
  14. Gas Gauge Malfunction

I generally have it say it is near empty (warning light, 30 miles or less left for range) and the fill up is like 17.5 gallons. It has a 22 gallon tank. I guess that's one way to not run it down, but it seems like it should go down to about 1 gallon or so, not 5.
  15. Tire Fill Alert and Selectable Tire Fill Alert

I'm salty because the feature was announced early, was actually in the manual, and I paid good money on an LE (all features) and I don't have it. Maybe I'm being selfish, but after dropping $62k there should be some sort of software download or sensor replacement for the LE models that...
  16. Anyone install rear air bags to help prevent squatting while towing?

Have you tried a weight distribution hitch? I used one on a mid-size truck I had and worked really well for keeping it level.
  17. Uconnect freezing/rebooting

Only freeze reboot I've seen in 7k miles is pulling out of a spot and rear camera came on. Then I put it in drive and the camera stayed on and the screen was unresponsive, then it rebooted and life was normal.
  18. Jeep wave-back question

My wife does not understand this "wave thing" at all. She finds it hilarious that we get waved at and I return the wave. I wonder if the women who have Jeeps may have a decent percentage that think similarly? This whole waving/signaling thing is kind of a boy thing. Riding motorcycles and all...
  19. MPG in the Texas Heat

I know that my mileage has improved after getting some miles on the clock. I started at around 14-15 up here in eastern Montana (maybe not Texas hot, but we were 94 degrees yesterday and can run in the 90's for stretches in the summer) but now am at 18mpg average. Maybe its the "adaptive"...
  20. Radio nitpicks

My guess is there is little collaboration between Sirius and the software engineers at FCA. Since the text string for Tom Petty can take so many shapes, it would be hard to know what text to ignore vs. what text is important in getting a positive ID on the artist. If Sirius assigned a serial...
