Honestly, if it doesn't sub as a tonneau cover, therefore waterproof, perpendicularly rails to mount anything and full use of the bed seem to be a better option for almost every need.
Does it, for sure, need a different skid plate? I ordered the JT with standard bumper so I wouldn't be waiting. Going to either order steel upgrade or an after market
I have Line-Xed my truck beds for the past twenty years. The product just keeps getting better. If u purchase the top of the line UV protected it keeps the shiny dark black slick finish. 5 years in Vegas sun, looks good. Do the rear wheel wells as well. I wouldn't trust the factory option to not...
I use the bedrug on my Raptor. If u r enclosing the bed with a fixed tonneau cover or camper shell it is the way to go. It is soft, molded perfectly, indestructible and sprays out. I have slept in there many times. If not enclosing the bed maybe their mat product but not the full bed product.
Can anyone give me the Build Specs in this show version? Is this the Mopar 2" lift with 35s? It looks like more than 2". Other stats on this build (Mopar parts). Ordering my Sting Ray this week and want to make my wish list. Thanks.
The real world towing is coming in with poor results. TFL has done some thorough towing testing. It will be a real chore to tow 5k at highway speeds and safely. Disappointing.
As unpopular as this statement will be...Jeep missed the mark with the Gladiator. I've done the deep dive in research, went through the vehicle with a Jeep tech and test drove thoroughly. The steering is loose, it is underpowered and now we r hearing the towing figures are overstated. lacks...
I test drove a Rubicon and unfortunately couldn't get past the loose steering. At highway speeds this thing was all over the place. This would be a white knuckle commute every day. Disappointed. Should have been better with a long wheelbase.
