cars.com has over 4,000 JT's on their site. It seems Jeep sold around 10,000 in the first two months. If cars.com is correct then the Sport and Sport S hasn't hit the showrooms yet. There are a lot of mall crawlers like me that want a JT but are holding off for the bargains.
I have been using the manual shift mode extensively for years. Need to pass on the highway? Go manual and change gears to get 4000 RPM and you have instant torque. Going into a curve? Same, instant torque coming out the other side. I'm not sure if the tranny will drop out some day from this...
So, I am super confused. In the beginning when prices came out people were bending over backwards to emphasize that the JT was only $1k over similarly optioned mid-size trucks. But now, it seems everyone is saying that full sized trucks can be had for the same price as a JT. Which is it?
