The Artec site says that their plate doesn’t work with the VR series. Did you have any issues with getting yours to fit? I got a VR Evo 12-S from Santa and can’t seem to find a plate that is both tough doesn’t require some shaving of bits.
I finally got a response and they sent new bumpers . . . that are also pieces of shit and don’t work. I have asked to return the doors and get a refund. I’ll let you know how that goes.
I did a road rally this past weekend in mine. 21 out of 30 hours were spent behind the wheel and I put on close to 1,000 miles.
I lived. No complaints overall.
Rubicon.
I told my accountant that I wanted a Gladiator. He then told me about the $25,000 179 deduction for a truck with a GVWR > 6,000lbs. The Overland was 5,800lbs. The Rubicon was 6,250.
I love my accountant.
I sent my first email to them on May 11. More have followed. It has now been 60 days with no response to that or any other email. My phone call has gone unreturned as well.
I’m about to send these things back and go with another brand. I absolutely would not recommend these as quality is...
Installed the Borla S-Type Climber yesterday. It sounds as good as a V-6 can sound and no drone, so I’m happy with it. Paired with the S&B ram air system, my Gladiator now makes proper truck noises. Threw on a Pedal Commander today. Pretty happy with that too.
I got rid of the amber corner markers, added some KC Gravity driving lights, covered the yellow logo with gray, and replaced the fog lights with a set of matching KC’s.
I have the same issue with my door bumpers. I guess I’ll need to file a complaint as well. Please keep me/us posted with your resolution’s progress.
