Thanks! I should clarify that I just have the .75" spacers up front to eliminate the rake. At first I was about .25" high in the front but I haven't checked that dimension since the install about a year ago.
I have your same jeep! At least color wise. I have mine on 37's with the 2" Mopar lift and the .75" spacer from Rough Country. When I lifted mine about a year ago those were some of the only options available. Now I'd probably go with the Metal Cloak. My 37's do not rub and I've had it...
Long time no post... Back in March I added a toolbox to my bedrack. $160 from amazon for an aluminum black powdercoated box 30"x10"x10" made by Brait. I'm impressed with the quality and its seals for the money. I keep my hitch balls and straps in it. The next pics were after a trip to Rausch...
So I pulled a dumb move a few months back and now are looking to sell a new set of KC hilites G4 LED foglights for the rubicon plastic bumper and overland. I bought these, let them sit for several months after throwing the box away, then I go to install them only to find out they wont work with...
I used 1.25" .083" wall tubing mainly because we use a ton of it here at work. I used stage lighting clamps from Amazon as the tube clamps. We lasercut and bent brackets I designed to come out under the OEM bed cover and tie into the bed rail system. I was forced to get the OEM cover because...
My most recent mod was more for everyday functionality and comfort. I love the Jeep but I hate the key monstrosity. So I ordered an AJT Designs fob in matching colors to the Jeep. I though I would share the dimensional differences and a few other observations. Width is 1.480" vs 1.775", so...
You can just think of the backpack as being $400 and then it's the same price... I assume we'll see actual pics after SEMA. Very cool idea. However with a flip back design it may make it hard to use with a bed rack system.
For sale is a new in box 2.5" rough country spacer leveling kit without the shocks. Comes with extended shock mounts and the control arm relocation brackets to maintain the factory arm angles. Part numbers are 63400 and 110602. I ended up putting on the Mopar 2" lift so I no longer need...
So as a winter project I was thinking of trying to make a rack similar to Gobi's Brute rack. For one to showcase the tube bending our company can do. Two, it would look cool, I think. And also be useful with a bed rack system that could be used with it. Gobi's stuff is cool but I don't like...
I no longer clean wheels. I have a guy for that... The Mopar lift got installed this past Friday. Mt Zion Offroad did the install. They also did the mount and dynamic balance on the wheel/tire setup. Couldn't be happier with the ride quality and how straight it tracks. I did add the .75"...
The Gladiator in the wild. The rack worked as expected so far. Hopefully we pack the coolers full of meat and I get to test it with some additional weight. A sweet Florida hunting rig next to me.
Here’s a idea of what I’m going for. 4 dudes in Florida to hunt a hog and gator each. So the bed rack may need to hold up to 400# (rough estimate of 100# bring back each and ice). I can put the heavier coolers in the bed if needed on the way back too. I figure a hunting gear tote, gun case...
I drilled the aluminum rail to match the factory bolt locations. I’m steering clear of any mods at this point that require any cutting or drilling. Just not willing to break the paint yet. The Jeep bed threaded holes are M6x1 and the 4’ rails fit in perfectly with no cutting needed.
