It’s only the one area the rest is perfect. Dry, no dust. Better than I expected. Was expecting some water and some dust and have no issue with some in certain situations.
I like the level hard roll up (outside the bed) and some minor deterrent type security for travel.
I almost go a tuxedo...
I just installed last week. Not really sure it’s a defect, I would like adjustment advice.
the install for me was very fast and easy, I have rolled-unrolled several times just to try and level the area.
the hump I have to push down to latch on the locking rail.
Cover is great! Doing well dry and looks really good.
But have two small dips that make a small hump and only on drivers side. Halfway to pass side flattens out.
any suggestions for adjustments?
I have a 25 Mojave X.
just to state stats: male, 6-2, 255, athletic build at 56.
Seats are great, no issue of any kind. Nobody has expressed any issue with seats. Sounds person to person.
Indian River, MI. Jet skis are a light load, can’t tell they were behind me. MPG 16.6 towing.
RZR 4 XP1000 trailered about 4500lbs, still easy tow on flat land.
Quick pic at pickup and then home to celebrate with four kidney stone attacks.
lots of XJ’s, brother with wranglers and grand cherokees, daughter has compass.
ORV’r for over 40 years on Michigan trails and silver lake. Mostly stick to Atlanta area trails in a 4 seat RZR. Sold dirt bikes: young...
Awesome! I expect the top to creak at times, it’s a modular hard/soft convertible and expect road noise.
My 2 door XJ had a nickname: Chip Pan.
Still have 4 door on 40’s..
I have driven several; sport, sport s, overland and rubicon, but not the Mojave.
My daily is a Durango Brass Monkey, it’s a cool look, comfortable, road sporty, but not ever excited to drive it. Does not have tow package. I think a Grand Cherokee L is just a repeat, but could tow about 5-6k...
Sucks, I am and have been lucky with the 4.0HO. My brother owned Wranglers and did well with 4.0 also.
My XJ’s have all been heavily abused with care!
More than 20. About sums it up!
This will be a daily, so off roading will happen and limited, I have a 4 seat RZR, dirt bikes and atvs and jet skis(guess that is off road!).
been riding off road since 70’s at Silver Lake and MI ORV trails. Most stay on ORV trails as I know them like roads...
Thanks! This is what I was actually looking for.
fully understand road noise and jeep noise,
the quality of design and manufacturing seems to put the old issue aside. Issue of sounding like a chip pan of loose parts after a few years and 50k miles.
Thanks, my son has several Ram 2500, 3500 and 5500 so I really need to tow, it’s covered.
mine will be under 4000 and flat land, short trips in Michigan. Two jet skis and trailer or aluminum trailer and RZR. Just don’t want to be within 1000 of tow capability.
Mojave: yes for the driving...
