  1. Adding a winch to the plastic front bumper?

If I was going off roading, I would want a steel bumper before a winch? There are many options besides the overpriced Mopar steel version that can offer more protection to the front of your truck.
  2. Steel Bumper

The LEDs have likely saved my life a few times this year. There's been a few deer and a ram step out onto the highway on the way to my hunting spot. The lights let me see them with loads of time to brake. More light is always safer on the road imho unless you are fogged out. I'd love to hear a...
  3. Favorite modification? (Fun thread)

It is indeed the stryker bumper, much better looking in person. The light bar is a 13.5 incher from https://northernlightbars.com/. It could fit a bit more flush with the opening (set 1 inch back). I hear rough country makes some more tight fitting options. It does interfere with the front...

    1,000,000,000 lumens!!
  5. Best model for snow.

Driving the snowy mountains here in BC Canada on the Falken Wildpeak AT 33's in my Rubicon, they are mountain snowflake rated. They have excellent grip, and I would highly recommend them for all conditions, best tire I've experienced up here. The rubi rocks in the snow in 4H with off road+...

  7. Package/options, what do you love/hate?

I just got mine and if I could do it over again: Forward facing camera- Not really worth it, the screen is too small, the wide angle too skewed to give an honest representation of the ruts/rocks in front of the vehicle. Cool for pulling up real close to something..but how may times do you need...
  8. Funny thing happened.

Up here in Canada, the further you get from OEM, the greater your resale value gets torched...the couple K you think you're saving translates to 20-40% potential value lost at trade-in or resale. The math has been done on this sport or overland to Rubicon "conversion" many times on these forums...
  9. Storing your JT hoping it will be worth a bunch in the future? Think again

Yea they made 200 of those LRP M3's, FCA made almost 21x more LE's. Might command 1K more than typical Rubicon on a resale, depending on gullibility of the purchaser. It's still a nice truck that anyone would be happy to have but an exorbitant used value for an LE is not very likely.
  10. Storing your JT hoping it will be worth a bunch in the future? Think again

Conflating two different things on wheels I'm afraid
  11. Aftermarket bumper recommendations

I'm going for the new Smittybilt Stryker, not sure about how the bar is going to show up on the front camera yet...
  12. Help me choose the name for my Jeep

Has to be something funny if you're naming an object, either people names like Jim, Ken, Dave, Ron, Nancy or Felix. or silly like MudPounder, HillChuffer, StoneSlinger, SpineKnocker, or my personal favorite DirtSlaps.

  14. Post your 2020 JT Gladiator build status

Hey All and @JeepCares, I ordered my Red Rubicon optioned out on May 13th. I am still in BG status along with a few other friends up here in Canada. The latest story from the FCA rep is a "hardtop shortage"....Really!?!?!?! The dealerships are showing everybody in BG or BE right now, and...
