  1. We need to talk about the “Jeep Wave”

I always try to wave. I get 75% of the waves back. Seems like the larger amount of people that don't wave are in newer Jk or JL Wranglers. Even had a driver of a YJ that hung out the side of their Jeep and wave. :jk:
  2. DIY Door, Freedom Panel and Roof Cart

I may have to build a version of this. :like: I don't have a garage so finding a safe place for truck parts can be a challenge. Great idea
  3. Bed rack/storage for kayaks

Was able to shove 4 sit in kayaks of various makes into the box. We do a lot of mostly calm water or river floating:beer: (boats were strapped in before we hit the road)

  5. Rampage bumper carnage

While trying to help a friend recover his plow truck last night on a snow covered logging road. I tugged on his truck from the rear and moved it but it wasn't working out. So then the plan was for me to try and make it around his truck and pull him from the front. By this time we had another...

  7. Let's talk about winter issues

I'm in the same boat yesterday got into the truck as I opened the door I cringed from the sound of cracking ice. Lol I guess the best way to limit this is park in a manner that will let the drainage of melted ice to flow away from your door by parking on an incline  But keeping the roof...
  8. Time for a new Gladiator! Crash, bam, boom

I wouldn't worry about it till you get it in the shop. The shop will do a quote and send it to the insurance and they'll send an adjuster out. Main thing is getting it to a shop with people you trust. Living in the UP we have plenty of deer + car incidents I have a shop that does great work...
  9. How could Jeep make a commercial more like this Defender ad

I was under the impression that most of the commercial was shot for the upcoming Bond movie that Land Rover just adapted for their needs

  12. BUMPERS!

Absolutely. Fairly simple well priced still heavy enough finish is holding well. I'm in the rust belt so imperfections would show quick .
  13. Clock not keeping time

Thanks for your response unfortunately the link didn't return any update for our trucks. I also poked around in the settings and couldn't find anything that would give me information on the current version running.
  14. Totalled??(Kidding)...what's next?

If it were me I'd be looking at a number of after market rear bumpers or buy a take-off tow hook and buff the bumper
  15. Photograph of the Month Contest - November 2019

Thread should just be renamed "Post Your Best Gladiator Pic (once per month)" :CWL::CWL: :CWL:
  16. Clock not keeping time

I've had to correct my clock on a number of occasions now usually with 20 mins. This morning I started the truck around 6:20 am and it rest to 12:00. I haven't gotten a hold of the dealership yet it's not a critical issue but will certainly be a inconvenience to have to set the clock every few...
  17. If anyone is curious if a Gladiator starts in -40...

If what you believe is true Lake Michigan would be frozen solid 10 months out of the year and Lake Superior would no doubt be a frozen glacier. http://www.math.wichita.edu/~richardson/windchill.html
  18. Tuners for Manual Transmission

Ran into this too. Have to remind myself it drives different in 4wd. Last Jeep was a CJ5 with a 304 with some work and a 3spd so didn't have any issue switching from on road to off road. Just a learning curve with the JT
