There wouldn't be this many people having issues if this was the case. I've over 20 vehicles in my 32 years of driving, never had I come across an HVAC system in a vehicle that sucked like this.
UPDATE! Weather has warmed up nicely here in Houston. Had roof off, doors on on a cool morning on my way in to work (45 min. commute) and noticed it blows ice cold when set in the 80's. Same issue just reversed. If I click to "HI", it goes to Hot Lava, ..have to mess with it up and down to...
So am I correct in saying these are vented housings, not sealed. Went through a car wash yesterday and the entire lens was spotted. And yes, as the weather warmed, and the sun hit the lenses, it went away. But what if we have rain for a few days? What if our weather is humid and overcast...
Just did the install today, along with a few other pieces. Was super stoked for this, only to get home and see the condensation/fog. What’s up Oracle?!
I'm just waiting for the recall. This issue is all over the place, more shocked that Jeep has not addressed it yet, than it actually happening. FIX IT. ...on a side note, i'm, also seeing my outside temp gauge gets stuck for several minutes, 5-10? before it finally hits the correct temp. 56...
Did a search, didn't see anyone else that may be experiencing this. Hopefully, i'm just missing something easy. Noticed this a few days ago when I had the bed loaded, tailgate was in half position. Once on the freeway, I noticed the right mirror orange triangle was lit. Left one came on...
This is unbelievable. Literally, i'm at a loss for words. If the dealer agrees something is wrong, why can they not replace the entire unit if needed? With the kind of money spent on a brand new vehicle, I'd expect a little more. This is my first Jeep, maybe this is common practice?
I'm scheduled to take mine next week, hoping it's just a relay or something simple, but from the TSB for the JL's I don't think it is. Looks like we all need to go to dealer and have them document to speed up the process in having this become a TSB "specific" for the Gladiator.
Alex, it appears that many, including myself have messaged you directly only to get the same response of bring to the local dealership. Looks like we have been to no success. So, how many "cases" does it take to have the "well know issue" properly looked into by some one who actually knows...
blowing hot air when set at 68 is not normal. Tech just had no answer, other than the (now standard), "that's normal", so they don't accept having to document the problem.
I'm hesitant to bring it in, just due to the fact it takes my dealer FOREVER to get anything done. I had a great weekend and didn't notice the issue, until I do notice it blowing hot air set at 68 degrees. I'm going to try and hold out, until i can't hold out any more, ...hopefully when they...
You can add one more to this list. Had my Gladiator one day, took it in the next day for the Mopar 2" lift, got it back with an ESS light on the dash. Drove it over the weekend, then brought it to dealer in which they have had for 2 full days (and counting) and are scratching their heads as to...
I figured as much. I just ordered the exact same model in Sting minus the Homelink. Even my dealer thinks this is "body color matched" . Will be interesting to see what happens when it arrives, ...whenever that is.
