  1. Driveshaft symptoms

    Hi folks Besides having the truck stop, are they any clues that the driveshaft is in trouble? I am not on the recall list, but today I noticed some crazy squeaking and hi-pitched whining coming from the back. About to turn 10000 miles. Thanks

  5. Nighttime center screen light explosion. Ouch.

    So, I'm training myself to press the "screen off" button before shutting down. At startup, the screen reverts to the default "on" position. It's a little thing, but the list of "little things" is getting a bit long.

    Pretty annoying that the center screen erupts in blinding brightness when you shut the truck down. Really hurts the old eye-balls. Hack?

  11. Hard Top or Soft Top?

    I have the dual top. I put the soft top on as soon as I got her home from the dealer. Surprisingly quiet. I'd say it's been retracted 90% of the summer when it's not raining. I agree that it looks pretty awful retracted...but you don't see it when your driving. Plan on putting the hard top...

    Yep. Thought I had a problem when I drove off the lot. Well documented "issue". You'll get used to it as it's a Jeep thing.

  16. Gladiator as “Only” Vehicle?

    Traded in my Chevy Colorado. Mid size is fine for us. Why would you NOT want a convertible P/U? It's pretty damn perfect.

    I've been driving with the top rolled back and keeping corners installed for a month. No problems. Window bag is nice BTW.
