Had a roll-up, then my wife got me a trifold, and now my roll-up is back on because weāre renovating (again) and rolling up is easier to do than remove/reinstall/remove/reinstall.
This is why I want my next tonneau to be a hard roll-up.
Consider switching insurance. No accidents, no citations, no reason to see my rates spike, yet every few years I have to do this same song and dance of switching to another insurance for pretty substantial savings - enough to cover the deductible for those plans where after so much time passes...
I use some Ryobi ones. They do fine, but I think one finally gave up the ghost - last time I tried it it was like -10 degrees out and it stays in my wifeās car. Not sure if that low of temp was the issue or not but I only paid $35 for it.
Really makes it hard to justify on-board air except for...
Itās possible that piece is shaped to fit both plastic bumper styles, however stock equipped, at least in the U.S., I believe that was a Sport/Sport S thing only. Itās a bit suspect that every model is listed in the āfitā group, Wrangler included, as thereās at least 3 different bumpers that can...
The Willys bumper is different than the Sport/Sport S, which is the one that comes with the damn dams.
The one on the Willys is the same as the Overland/Rubicon/Mojave unless upgraded to the steel for the latter 2.
If you look at the silver accent parts around the fog lights on an Overland...
Iāve had a Tyger roll-up from Amazon for 3.5 years. Itās actually for a Colorado as originally I couldnāt find one for a JT in stock. The only issue I really ran into that bugged me was the brackets (again, for a Colorado) allowed the bed rails to spread out and the back latch then wouldnāt hold...
Loved my JKU and my TJ, but living with either today just wouldnāt work. Iām quite grateful for the JT as it ticks all the right boxes for my needs.
A full size truck is overkill and I really just never cared for driving them, and a Wrangler just wouldnāt quite cut it.
Not bad. That pinch weld is something that should be addressed at the factory. It looked terrible on the JK, looks just as bad on the JL/JT.
Fortunately I found a cheap set of sliders and opted for that route.
A 2015 JKU was my first Jeep and first vehicle Iād bought new. Then a RHD TJ, and now the JT. You could add in there a ā13 JKU, ā16 Compass, and ā19 Grand Cherokee that my wife has owned and I think youāll spot a bit of a pattern š¤
Tires getting mounted Tuesday along with an alignment and whatever else that entails (Iām hoping itās just an adjustment) and eyeing up new batteries.
So itāll be like a spa week for it; mani/pedi on the tires/wheels, a massage/chiropractic adjustment for its alignment with some fresh juice...
It would be worth reaching out to Bartact to see whatās up. Certainly seems like an oversight for something model specific.
Also curious if you happened to have wound up with the wrong covers altogether - whether they left Bartact packaged incorrectly or Quadratec shipped the wrong one.
Those were my previous two. The TJ was a āwrong side driveā and was a former postal delivery vehicle. 180k miles on the original 4.0L and was still a strong runner when I sold her.
Hope she treats you well! š»
