You still interested in doing this? The Rubicon smart sway bar WILL integrate into the OS for the Mojave using a Rubicon switch system. I just did this project and it works great. PM me and I can walk you through it.
I finished up this project this weekend and it looks like it was really as easy as splicing in a few wires. The hardest part was making sure I ordered the correct Rubicon button module.
Question: did you ever run down the connections to add the Rubicon locker to the mix? I have also sourced a...
They specifically mention it being GPEC5 in the video description and in the video itself and how it had to be cracked differently from the old ECUs. It is a foreign sales jeep so maybe they have something else going on over there but it sounds pretty convincing to me that they were dealing with...
GPEC5 has officially been cracked and there are several places that are doing installs for 22+ years (at least here in Colorado). As mentioned earlier though, it remains to be seen how the GPEC5 holds up to repeated tunes or is it going to be more of a one and done type ECU.
Here's a link of...
I can. I’ve got access to several high end printers, including one that prints in carbon fiber cored Filament. Having a file of the cowl that’s cleaned up already would save me quite a bit of time. Having one with the cut outs measured and built into the file already would save me even more.
Did you ever clean this scan up? And do you happen to have an STL file of it? I'm thinking I can measure the cut outs for the snorkel and just adjust the file to try and 3D print one for my mojave.
Don’t tell me that! I’m having a hard enough time as it is not ordering one right now. If I still lived out in Colorado there’s a good chance I would have already done it. But I moved out here to Hawaii a couple months ago and there is no chance of taking it out on a road trip to Moab or long...
Lol my truck only has 5k miles on it and I’ve asked myself this question about 5k times now. In the end I always decide to keep it 3.6 because I can’t figure out a scenario where I would actually NEED that kind of boost. Until it blows up in about 10 years. Then I’ll obviously revisit the swap...
You can probably save some money by buying through one of the dealers in the mainland offering the gladiator forum deal. I ordered mine in Colorado and the Gladiator forum deal was currently 3% below invoice price. About 5% off MSRP. Then an additional 1% for joining tread lightly. Ended up...
That pictures looks like it has the "Molded in fender flares" to me. If you click on the picture and zoom in you can see it has the lip. So it should have 4.10s in it.
I dont think it was customer test drives... They only had possession of it for less than half a day. Truck arrived Monday evening and was picked up tuesday at 1030 AM.
Took deliver of my white on white rubi yesterday. Anyone else have an over zealous dealer? The window sticker literally had my name on it but when I hopped in for a test drive the truck already had 46 miles on it... When I inquired as to why I was told that it needed to go through ''pre delivery...
