  1. What wheels are you putting on you JT?

It drives great. I have 3.73's and they do a decent job for now. I plan to re-gear soon though as I only see 6th maybe 7th sometimes on the highway. Most of my driving is around town and I have no issues there. I have a basic 2" Spacer lift for now. Going to a 3.5" Lift and new shocks shortly...
  2. Show me your front bumpers!!

Yes they are. They have been great tires so far. They are 37x13.5-17 and I have around 22K miles on them and they still have plenty of tread left. I have driven from NW Arkansas to Moab and back and have lots of highway time on them and have 0 complaints. They are probably quieter than any of...
  3. JL Audio under seat Stealthbox thoughts? SB-J-JTGLAD/10TW1

I mounted my VX1000/5 to the middle section of the box. It fits just perfect.
  4. JL Audio under seat Stealthbox thoughts? SB-J-JTGLAD/10TW1

Yes it is very sturdy. It is only mounted to the 2 seatbelt points, but it isn't going anywhere.
  5. JL Audio under seat Stealthbox thoughts? SB-J-JTGLAD/10TW1

I didn’t have the Alpine in my JT, but I had a loaner JL with it for about a week when my Ram was in for service and there is no comparison b/w the output of the Stealthbox vs the Alpine system.
  6. JL Audio under seat Stealthbox thoughts? SB-J-JTGLAD/10TW1

The install with just an amp and the stealtbox should be pretty straight forward. You could use something like a JL LoC22 to get signal from the OEM Subwoofer and convert it to work with a new amp. If you are wanting to upgrade all the speakers and do a full system 5 channel amp I would...
  7. Installing a motion (microwave) sensor to factory alarm system

This should be fairly easy to accomplish. You would need to find a wire that either goes to ground when the vehicle is put in park or you could use a relay that when 12v is detected on the vehicle being placed in park it switches a ground on. This way your DEI 508D will get the Ground When armed...
  8. JL Audio under seat Stealthbox thoughts? SB-J-JTGLAD/10TW1

It’s a great setup. I just installed that and some new speakers all around with a JL VXi1000/5 amp and it made a huge difference. The bass is great. I have been rocking JL Audio in every vehicle since the 90’s and have never been disappointed.
  9. Jeep Lift Kit and Fox Shocks Giveaway!

Would be great to replace my RC kit with a real lift kit.
  10. Show me your front bumpers!!

    It is Black.
  11. Show me your front bumpers!!

I just installed the Rugged Ridge Arcus bumper. Install was pretty easy and it fits nicely with the Winch. I also installed the Baja Design LP6's and used the holes that the Over Rider bar would have used.
  12. Aftermarket stereo - Show what you put in

We pulled the OEM camera out and found one that matched up pretty close in size and it mounted up very easily to the factory location. Then we pulled the new Camera wire from the radio to the back. That was also pretty easy and followed the factory wiring.
  13. What wheels are you putting on you JT?

Thanks. I am on a 2.5" Spacer Lift for now. Planning on a 3.5" or so Full Lift soon.
  14. Aftermarket stereo - Show what you put in

Finally got the backup camera swapped out for a new aftermarket unit. It fit very nicely into the OEM location. While we where adding the back up camera we added remote start as well.
  15. Aftermarket stereo - Show what you put in

See post #9 for more info, but yes it does use the phone for GPS as it uses Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. My price would be low compared to most. I would guess this would be in the $700-$900 range depending on lots of factors.
  16. Aftermarket stereo - Show what you put in

No. The factory backup camera carries both power and video on the single proprietary cable. We are going to install a new camera and new wire soon. It looks like we can fit the new camera in the OEM location so it will look factory.
  17. Giveaway Contest #2: Man Sized Gladiator Multi Tool!

    I’m in. Thanks.
  18. Aftermarket stereo - Show what you put in

For Navigation it does work of my phone via Apple Maps, Google Maps, or other Navigation App's. Finding a unit that has built-in Navigation and a short chassis needed to fit in the dash of the JT/JL is going to be a very difficult task. I don't really use iTunes, but being Apple Car Play it...
  19. Aftermarket stereo - Show what you put in

Finally got my new Kenwood eXcelon DMX706s installed and working. We installed it with the Maestro RR and have it working with most all functions operational. We do have a couple things we have to work on. Here are the Pro's and Con's to replacing the factory radio that I have found so far. This...
