Yes I'm aware of the weight unit weights about 950 dry so I may have to rely on air lift. Did a test run with 1500 lbs to see how it handled original tire were too soft

I'm installing a camper on my Gladi
Weight is around 1200 lbs
Would like to have advice on tire
80% road 20 % gravel road
Looking for solid sidewalls but not
Overkill as when camper is off still want to enjoy my ride
Thanks for your help
I'm totally with you on the road that you're on! Keep on going, I wish you a successful project
If you don't give it a chance you may just regret it. Start simple, yet effective than refine afterwards. All the best
Sorry for the late response, the outside hinges are stainless marine hardware and the inside lock is sold by Spaenaur (door lock ) all the rest is pretty much custom made
Thanks for your comments I had a tread going in the section show and tell https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/home-made-tonneau-cover.19914/
If you have any questions let me know
To make the mold and one piece.. About 40 hrs..
I also incorporated a track for a Thule rack either for skis or a pup up tent.. Not including a lot of head scratching
Thanks for your comments they are two hinges in front, but still missing the cylinders to pop it up.when closed there are two latches that locks the lid in place
