    Yes I'm aware of the weight unit weights about 950 dry so I may have to rely on air lift. Did a test run with 1500 lbs to see how it handled original tire were too soft Falcon. I'm not going to do rock climbing , just weekends on remote places

    Sorry for the late response, the outside hinges are stainless marine hardware and the inside lock is sold by Spaenaur (door lock ) all the rest is pretty much custom made

    To make the mold and one piece.. About 40 hrs.. I also incorporated a track for a Thule rack either for skis or a pup up tent.. Not including a lot of head scratching

    Thanks for your comments they are two hinges in front, but still missing the cylinders to pop it up.when closed there are two latches that locks the lid in place
