  1. Metalcloak lift

i thought about going blue or red with mine originally. Never thought about clear coating them.
  2. Metalcloak lift

If I recall correctly, they said not to do any type of sanding as it removes the coating that’s on it now. I was going to take mine and get them powder coated but the return on investment just didn’t seem worth it to me. YMMV.
  3. Metalcloak lift

Sorry I just saw this post. By poor are you referring to how far out the wheels extend past the fender? If so it’s about 2”.
  4. EDC Storage

Thats the sight I’ve been waiting for. They just released some newer ones for 2021 and still waiting for them to drop ship. The gun certainly is a TAC driver. I’ve got no complaints and prefer it over my Wilson Combat.
  5. EDC Storage

Ha! I didn’t take any offense to that. All of what you said makes sense. I have that same holster for my Sig 365 but with a tier 1 wedge added to it. That STI is nice. I just picked up the Staccato p duo a few months back. Waiting to get a decent red dot for it.
  6. EDC Storage

Could it be an equipment issue? As in the type of holster you are using? A concealment claw and wedge help with comfort. My EDC carry now is a SIG P365 on an XL frame, Romeo 0 micro red dot and threaded barrel with micro-compensator. Before that it was a HK VP9 carried AIWB. Not saying you don’t...
  7. EDC Storage

I carry it on me. AIWB with a spare mag and TDI K-Bar fixed blade. Pull my shirt out over top the seatbelt so I can still access it. I’ve also spend quite a bit of time training, shooting in, out of and around vehicles for my job. Additionally, if I get in a crash I don’t have to worry about it...
  8. Jack of All Trades Overland Tent

My good friend who is a warrant officer in the Marines (we served together) just picked up this tent from Jack of All Trades Overland. He has it set up on his 4 Runner. Some of the proceeds go to the Marine Recon/Sniper foundation and the Marine Reconnaissance foundation. What are the “been...
  9. Headlight Upgrade for Sport S W/ Max Tow

I had something similar on my JK from Quadratec. It was their LED HL/FL combo. It was super bright and was just as good as some of the higher end brands that cost almost double. I have not done anything with my lights yet and not sure if I will since I rarely drive my JT now.
  10. Are seat covers worth it?

I love the white. Honestly I had rarely drive my JT anymore since I have a dedicated K9 vehicle now. I have had it 15 months now and just hit 15,000 miles on it. The seats wipe clean easily and, in my humble opinion, look awesome in contrast to the black interior.
  11. Are seat covers worth it?

My PRP seat covers finally came in and I got them knocked out in a couple of hours with plenty of water breaks between cursing. Straight forward install. It was tedious however moving around the rear passenger compartment at time.
  12. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Drove it to the gun guy to pick up this gorgeous piece of America! 2011 STI Staccato P/Duo
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Well for me, I’m the only one who drinks anything in my car. And to be honest it was pretty hot in the garage and dirty under the seats and metal, etc. All the dirt wipes right off. No dogs in there as I have a dedicated K9 vehicle, daughter is 12 and isn’t too big of a mess and the wife is OCD...
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Finally received my PRP seat covers. Before and after. Install was straight forward but a little tedious at times. Happy with the results, fabric and craftsmanship. Carbon fiber white with black stitching
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

love that. I’m getting a Maligator in September for work. I’ll be adding him to my two GSD’s I have now.
  16. First responder - Chrysler/Jeep/Ram drops Nurses.

I didn’t lecture about a discount. I said I take one when offered on major purchases because I do in fact qualify for the discount. The OP was mad they removed nurses from the first responder discount and went on a rant about how they are first responders or frontline workers. Remind you he...
  17. First responder - Chrysler/Jeep/Ram drops Nurses.

I paid into the GIBill in more ways than one. Getting a benefit offered to you by the government for your service, as part of your contract, is not being entitled. You are also missing the point. The op isn’t a nurse or in the healthcare field at all. His wife is and he got mad they removed...
  18. First responder - Chrysler/Jeep/Ram drops Nurses.

At this point and time can the mods just close this thread? The op complained his wife didn’t get her discount because Jeep stopped offering it. Now they have it. Happy ending for all. For future thought, visit Walter Reed, Arlington, or a number of VA facilities before you call a non-combat...
  19. Dear Jeep - Things I Don't Like

You are right we did. Like you, I didn’t expect perfection. If I didn’t I wouldn’t have bought it. The mirror thing has been a topic for a while. It is a nice to have. I could care less about the bronco. Ford was able to take Jeep owner complaints and model remedies for their vehicle. As for...
  20. Dear Jeep - Things I Don't Like

You’re right none. I do not take reports for off-road damage as that’s not an area in my jurisdiction. It is also not what I said or implied. I have taken plenty of reports for sideswipes in parking areas, the road way, etc. where people have lost their mirrors. Sh!t happens no matter what the...
