I haven’t noticed mine staying on but noticed today that the drivers side wouldn’t light up on the interstate but very now and then when a car passed by but would stay on when in the left lane next to a guardrail.
My actual is 33” and finally set the RC calibration to 32.75” and now the speedometer is 61 and the gps shows 60 and I think when I set it on 33” the gps showed 61 and the speedometer showed 60. So now I get to do it all again.
Yes.....it didn’t time out on me. It doesn’t take long at all to re-program, I just followed the instructions that came with it which were fairly simple. I did have to set my tire size 1/4” smaller than actual to get speed to register the same as gps.
My 34’s has an actual measurement of exactly 33” and that’s what I programmed it for and it reads 1mph faster than gps.....I probably could correct it by entering 32.75 but haven’t tried yet.
I went with 305/70/17 Crosswind A/T on stock wheels $154 ea. 8 ply....34” actually measures 33” from ground to top of tire. Doesn’t seem to have affected fuel mileage....maybe less than 1 mpg.
