I would imagine if you found one that was straight - almost like a towel bar you could fab it into bumper. Or wide enough and tap into frame rails behind tow hooks
No wobble - they are bolted to the steel inner support - rock solid. As noted if you look at the diagrams for the plastic bumper assembly there is a lot of c channel under that roto molded bumper fascia
The bumper for the JT is not too different than the JK, TJ, YJ - there is a C Channel hidden in the plastic to provide structure and strength. To add a sport bar or lights just a matter of positioning and bit of fab.
Honestly if your going from Jersey to Va - you have the Pine barrens - Great legal trails that are fun to explore. Stay on the trails and shouldnt have any issues.
To the overall post - Big challenge here is irresponsible people - they read / hear about a trail and its spread out every...
I am lost also on this - I have the Max Tow, I have the convenience option and 7" - I do not have a usb port on the back of my center console for back seat passenger use.
Very Jealous - love the concept and the mods. Whats the plan for suspension - with the sub frame - looks like setting up for Long arm / coil - but the frame and fenders point to leaf's (leaves?)
May want to listen to the video again - These seem to be based on the JL / JT and provide more clearance than the Rubicon. Should be able to use what your Sport came with and bolt these on - Really encouraging - Hope they bring to market as promised.
Welcome - to your question on aftermarket - for the JT its growing. The current Jeep models have the best aftermarket support of any jeep to date. Plus the benefit of (Front Half) of platform being shared with JL (Wrangler) and some of the JK bumpers. As the JT was being released there...
that i believe is correct - I don't have rear currently as they weren't available. The Max Tow has different flares/fenders than regular Sport / Sport S or Rubicon. Not sure I will add rear mud flaps I am more concerned with splash with door / windows open
Max Tow is a different part number - That's noted in their ordering - I have the Max Tow and lined up fine other than needing to control the inner liner alignment (very flexible)
