Heat them up a bit with a heat gun or hair dryer and then use some floss or fishing line to alice behind them. Then I used a whizzy wheel to remove the residue.
It takes like 2 seconds to remove or put back on. It's convenient. I have one and enjoy it, but don't care for the way it looks, but the wife drives the car often with the kids and she would never remove the panels herself so here we are. It's a nice piece for those who need the convenience...
I put the freedom panels back on for the winter. Once you take it off and put it on a couple times it's about a 5 minute job. Love my sunrider in the warm weather but its coming off in the next couple weeks, just think the freedom panels look better and it's quieter and better insulated.
You sure you got the right part? Mine fits like a glove, even pressure washing it nothing comes through it's solid when closed.
I'd take it all the way off and reinstall watching the video.
I had a bear in Tennessee break into a garbage can that was parked close to my brand new BMW and it scattered food everywhere, some got on the car and no kidding it tore off my whole front bumper trying to eat it
Woke up the next morning confused and angry
