That likely wasn't my issue - the only idling it would have seen is at stop lights, nothing too abnormal. And there isn't too much cold weather here (a few weeks in Jan/Feb as an exception), but the Gladiator was only driven about 1/2 time as I have 2 cars...and my average weekly miles was well...
I highly doubt this will happen. Especially if FCA plans to eventually offer the 392, it wouldn’t make sense to offer a power variant that would compete with those sales.
Plus, the only person on here I can recall pushing this rumor was the person selling the product. I didn’t see any...
That’s a pretty good way to make sure you spend tens of thousands of dollars that you’ll never see again, and could have used to just fix the truck.
Last summer I had a warranty fight with BMW, where they blamed me for transfer case failure based on some mods I had done (aftermarket...
So my Gladiator (now in the hands of its new owner) threw a CEL last week. After taking it into the shop, it’s been determined that the cats are burned due to the Magnuson supercharger. To some extent, this may be expected with a s/c, but it caught the new owner off guard - especially since the...
Quick heads up - and I’ll post on my thread too - my Gladiator just threw a CEL a few days ago, and it turns out the cats are burned, the culprit has been determined to be my Magnuson supercharger. Not sure if you changed cats or deleted yours altogether, but something to be aware of. Other than...
If any of you follow the "Offroad Jeep Gladiator Builds" group on Facebook, someone just posted on there that they're planning to return to stock after too many issues with the Hamburger's unit - oil consumption, specifically (and gasket problems).
Quoting from the owner:
"Well the supercharger...
I have two Rigid light bars, 10” SR series. Taken off my Roush Raptor chase rack when I bought the truck new a couple months ago.
They’re in perfect shape.
$475 for both, or $250 each. New retail is $315 each.
Dealers seem to be getting much more happy about walking away from a warranty if the car has been modified (especially tuned or the computer coded in any particular way). I am on a number of car/truck forums and I'm seeing this way more frequently than I used to. To some extent I understand it...
EDIT: Added photos of the interior and underside.
Selling my 2020 JT Launch Edition. I love this truck, but it's time to move onto a different project.
Truck has 10,400 miles on her, has seen a few trails but 99% of the miles have been on the road. No issues at all, and has a full complement...
Yep, I get it. Did a long trip from Nashville to Colorado and back, saw plenty of fluttering. If I couldn't see the latches holding the hood down, I'd have been more nervous.
Did 935 miles in a day from Nashville to Amarillo on my way to Colorado. Truck did great, even loaded down. Much more comfortable, and less noisy, than i expected.
